I lived in Pittsburgh for one year, and I think I visited this place at least once a week for the entire year. I lived and worked right there in Manchester, and it felt so good to have a spot I could rely on on my very long walks around this staggeringly beautiful city. The website states they have 50+ flavors of Premium Homemade Hard Ice Cream. There was no where near that amount of flavors to pick from.. maybe 10. The interior of building was a little run down with walls that needed repaired and chipped, dirty tables. We were just expecting more since they are highly rated. However, my husband had a frozen soft custard with sprinkles in a cone and said it was one of the best he ever had.
Amending review - unfortunately the last few times I have visited, this spot is dirty both in the eating area and behind the counter. Service isn’t great. The ice cream is good.
