So good! I appreciate that they have Arsenal all over the city, but nothing like trying all the variety at the cider house itself. I love the drier stuff and the broken hearts was a winner for me. My partner got a ginger one and that was also delicious. Friendly staff and nice cozy place. Outside was spacious and we were lucky enough to snag a spot by the fire pit. A Pittsburgh must.

Come for the music trivia, leave with a stomach full of delicious sider and delicious soft pretzel. Now the options here would be better suited for a luncheon - the sandwiches are very nice just not a good dinner. Service is always delightful, highly recommend this spot.

Showed up at Arsenal for trivia on a Wednesday and it is such a hidden gem. The lawn is large with plenty of tables. The Pretzels were great, and so were two of their non alcoholic options. They had locally brewed root beer and and ginger beer that were super tasty. Their flavors were strong and they had much less sugar than a traditional soda. The owner came up and pet my dog towards the end of the night. He was super nice!

One of my favorite spots around town! The outdoor space has tons of tables and they allow dogs so it's always a fun time. My favorite cider is consistently the ginger but I do love their seasonal ciders in the winter. The folks who work here are super chill and let you try a number of ciders til you're happy. Also, get the growler - you end up saving a fair bit if you're a regular like me.

Great place to go for a drink. The outdoor area is great for hanging out with your friends or your dog! Very clean and friendly staff! Check it out!

10/10 would recommend! My sister and I stopped in for the first time on a Sunday and had a great experience. The place is kind of on the smaller side, but they had a nice outdoor area with a small fire pit and outdoor heaters which were perfect for the chilly afternoon. They have a nice assortment of ciders ranging from dry to sweet. Archibald had me at Hello at one of the other local spots, however, to my surprise the ginger is definitely my new favorite. If you're not a ginger person (like I thought), I would definitely recommend trying a sample!I'm kind of bummed that I didn't know about this place sooner but just moving back to the Burgh recently I'm sure there's a lot of other Burgh gems that I still need to explore!

We have had lots of great experiences here over the years. Arsenal Cider is located in an old row house in Lawrenceville. They have a variety of sweet and dry ciders, as well as mead and wine. We go every year for the snowbound cinnamon, which has become my family's favorite! Growlers are reasonably priced and after you buy 10 on your punch card, you get a growler for free. The cider sorbet is awesome in the summer too. I had something peach flavored and loved it. The space inside is small, but they have a nice outdoor area in the Summer. They are happy to let you sample before you purchase. Check out this great local business in Lawrenceville!

Love this place- got me falling in love with cider. Tip for the newbies: get a growler and come back to refill it. I like their classic Archibald's and the Ginger one. There's some outdoor seating with HEATERS!!!

The ciders are fantastic!! Any other cider has been ruined for me! The backyard felt very cozy, and the staff are extremely nice! If you've never been, it's an absolute must-go!

I went to Arsenal Cider House for the first time this weekend and loved it! They have a really fun outdoor area with picnic tables and corn hole games that can be fun for the whole family. I tried their ginger and cinnamon cider and liked the ginger better. I feel like the cinnamon cider would be better around the holidays. The ginger one was smoother and felt like it could be enjoyed at any time of the year, especially summertime! I will definitely go here again for a fun afternoon or evening.

You had me at "cider house," but you REALLY got me at "wine sorbet."Even though they weren't offering flights when I stopped by, there were plenty of house ciders that looked absolutely tempting to me. Both their Steuben semi-sweet white grape and Col. Symington's semi-sweet sour cherry ciders were absolute home runs - sweet but not too much so, while fruity and boozy enough to be just perfect for a warm summer day. As if this wasn't enough booze, the wine sorbet was an absolute winner. It's so good that you could come just for the sorbet and I wouldn't judge you, but you'd still be missing out on equally impressive ciders. The interior is Civil War-themed, in homage to the former arsenal across the street which blew up spectacularly, killing dozens of people in the war's worst civilian accident. If this freaks you out a bit, you'll find their rear patio far more inviting. Plenty of high chairs underneath a tent along with cornhole games, plus more seats at their outdoor porch facing this patio. Thanks Yelpers for a truly amazing, excellent, local find! Even better: in writing this review, I noticed that Arsenal has a Cleveland outpost just a few blocks from where I currently live. Can't wait to check it out!

I'm not a big cider fan but Arsenal has a wide variety of ciders including drier which I believe the waitress mentioned was pear. Which packed a good amount of alcohol. I believe there was only outdoor seating.

We stopped in late on a Sunday afternoon, just before closing. Arsenal Cider House has a nice, small indoor space and a very large outdoor space. This is a great summer hang out!The bartender was very friendly, and let us taste several ciders. We ultimately chose to order the Archibold's Ado and the Sour Cherry cider. The Archibold's Ado was a very crisp, semi-sweet, and bubbly apple cider. The Sour Cherry cider was tart at first, but became sweeter as you drank more. Both ciders were absolutely delightful! I tasted the Spicy Archibold's and can't wait to order that next time.

Love love love it here. Great cider, great space, always a great time. Honestly the best deal is to split a growler, much cheaper then buying individual glasses. Make sure to get a punch card started!

The best cider in Pittsburgh. There are so many breweries and bars that serve Arsenal Cider and for good reason. Arsenal has a continually rotating menu with ever beverage being a knockout. The back of the house has a nice area for a big group to go sit and share a growler. This is undoubtly one of the places I miss most during the stay at home orders and I can't wait to be back!
