Place is rarely busy and the food is really just decent. Staff is nice and options are available for most diets. They accept off campus dining dollars from Pitt which is great.The food is just really mid. It is not bad, but really nothing special. First time here & we really enjoyed it. The staff was very pleasant & helpful. The food was delicious & just what I needed! I got a Mexican street corn grain bowl and could only eat half! My husband had a bacon jam burger & we split an order of fries. It seemed like the perfect mix for us. We are excited to try other options if we find a Hello Bistro back home.

This location has messed up on two app orders in a row. Each time my salad was made with goat cheese when my order on the app clearly states feta cheese. I do not like goat cheese- and cannot eat the salad. Please label your cheese bins to prevent the same mistake from happening continuously. Two meals ruined- time to avoid this place.

Relatively cheap place to find good beyond burgers! I got mine with a brioche bun, mushrooms, fries, and chipotle bbq sauce. I wish there were more topping choices and the interior is not very nice but I would definitely go again!

Went for lunch today and there were fruit flies everywhere-flying around the food as well as the drink machine. Gross!
Slowest service on Earth. Good food though but I shouldn't have to wait 30 mins for a fast food meal

Clean, simple, and fresh. Just what we were looking for. Right now my wife and I are on an AIP diet and hello bistro had one of the best (only) available options for us. Their roasted chicken specifically is great because it's prepared with the most minimal ingredients. I was generally impressed by the simplicity of what they cook and how fresh it was!Vegetarian options: Lots of great salad options for vegetarians, but no meat alternatives specifically.Dietary restrictions: Options for meeting the most strict diets, in our case, the AIP diet. It's worth noting that: 1. All the dressings have vegetable/canola oil, but they offer just simple olive oil and balsamic as an alternate and 2. The shrimp and salmon options also use canola oil but 3. The grilled chicken uses no oil, and is only seasoned with salt, black pepper, and garlic!Didn't ask about whether meat is organic, free-range, wild-caught, or grass-fed.

I haven't been to Hello Bistro in a few years. I went to the Oakland location this past weekend. I ordered a cheese burger and fries which is what I would usually order in the past. All I can say is I need to go more often ?. That burger and fries was sooo good. I asked for salt but I didn't even use it on my fries. They were seasoned perfectly. The burger had the right amount of condiments for me. I wasn't even starving but I didn't leave a crumb ?. I honestly can't wait to go back.

This review is long overdue, but I order from this location multiple times a week. I always order online for pick up and my salad is always ready right away and very tasty! The employees are all very nice too! This is definitely my favorite Hello Bistro location. They all do a fantastic job here!
