Reliable neighborhood bar with great bartenders. Fridays during lent they have a semi-limited fryer menu because they are selling so much fish because it's a great deal, quick & good. Its beer battered & fried. Its pretty large. For take out, ask for the bun to be on the side and to not salt your fries or put the salt seasoning on the side (they can be a little salty but if you have a beer in hand, you're good to go).
If your looking for a place to go and have a few drinks; play some pool or darts, look no further. This is the place for you. Highland is a nice little hole in the wall that all the locals know and love. Not very big but bigger than it looks. It's only got one pool table and dart board, but we take turnes like good kids to use it. There a couple tables to sit and enjoy or sit at the bar and get funky with the bar. Lol it's a good time.
Great neighborhood bar. Friendly attentive staff. Food not as good as pre- covid and definitely a little pricy....but good for bar food. Great jukebox and tons or tvs. Clean bar. Daily specials. Parking can be a pain in the evening. My go to bar.
