My friend and I grabbed beers at Hitchhiker a few months ago when the weather was warmer and it was a great experience! Their beers are really interesting flavors and they let us sample a few before we selected our choices. The vibe is really nice inside and outside the bar. We sat outside and there was plenty of seating and it wasn't too crowded, which is my favorite experience these days.
I tried Hitchhiker Party in Bedrock at my local watering hole and absolutely loved it!! I wasn't able to find it locally anymore. I live about 2 hours from the brewery and was in Pittsburgh for another reason, so we decided to stop and check it out since we were in town. No regrets! The staff was awesome...very helpful, friendly, fun and full of energy!! They both went out of their way to make us feel welcomed since they knew it was our first time there. Most brewery reviews are pretty similar but here is another example of cool place, cool people and killer brews. The "Under the Radar" black IPA is one of the best I've had of its style. Also the AnimalHousePgh offered amazing food options.
