Amazing staff Dale The best bartender. Atmosphere modern urban. Parking limited. But service and staffing makes this place. Stop in!!!!! This is a must hit location. Beer is phenomenal.
On 2/12/25 at approximately 920am, a hitchhiker brewing co delivery driver was driving on my bumper apparently heading to the giant eagle in mccandless. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him flipping the middle finger at me while he was pulling into the giant eagle. I slowed down to see what his problem was at which point racial slurs were yelled at me. unprofessional employee and will not drink their beers again
I'm obsessed with their beer. It's so well made. Impressive AF.
I'd kinda gotten sick of IPAs and hazys, but they brought me back. The flavors they pull, there's a slight resiny stickiness to the hazys I've tried of theirs and it provides a unique and addictive mouth feel.
They had a milkshake sour on tap last time I was there--- dessert! It was called fruity pebbles or something like that. I've seen the milkshake IPAs, but that was the first sour I'd seen with the added lactose technique. Love it!
Always excellent beers!
Great beers on tap!!!
I love this place
Best tasting beer in Pittsburgh. Every beer is smooth and flawless! Great atmosphere, too!
Came in for a 4 pack of the Party in Bedrock, it deserves the name, it's a mouthful of fruity pebble flavor.
Always a good idea to stop by for a beer
Awesome!

Easily one of the top breweries in the area. Not only are their beers unique and tasty, but they generally have something that will please everyone. Some of the best beers I've had have come from Hitchhiker and while their cans are good in a pinch, their on tap beers are well worth the trip.My only knock is they need to expand somewhere else with more seating and do a food menu of their own rather than relying on food trucks which can be hit or miss (can't remove a star for that since it's clear this is only a taproom) .The staff is great and attentive and let you try something so you don't get a glass of something you will hate.Getting seating here sometimes can be problematic in the winter months; but their stuff is top shelf and worth it.One of my top 5 breweries in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
Always amazing
Love the smoothie sours!
One of my favorite breweries in town. If you’re a fan of New England IPAs look no further, they’re all Citra Airwave arguably their best brew.
Creative flavor profiles; inviting local atmosphere; a bit on the home brew side of the spectrum, but the potential to become top craft is evident. I look forward to seeing this place's brews evolve.
