First time customer. Got Cod family meal with sides of fries and onion rings. Everything was made fresh. This is a take away only.
Fish and sides were very good.
Would suggest they use bigger containers like buckets for larger orders of fries
Will be returning in the future.

My mom is in a rehabilitation to learn to walk and she requested “real chicken tenders” I called MT Oliver Hook Fish… This is the best Real chicken breast chicken tender I’ve had in a long time.

It was good

So I buy this cheesecake last night literally not even 12 hours ago. And I’m very disappointed I go to eat it this morning 5am and there’s mold on it. Ive never seen mold grow so fast on food in my life. This is unacceptable selling old food to someone. And not only that there prices that’s on the menu is so different than the prices on there register so please pay attention when buying from here! As for me and my family I will never order from here again!

This place has a simplified menu, and that is why it is so amazing. They aren't trying to do 100 different recipes. They fry chicken and seafood. And they are supremely skilled at that. The breading is crispy and not too thick. The seasoning is balanced and unique. The portions are very generous, and the price is on point.
This place is a true gem.

When they hit Pittsburgh years ago, it's was good. Then, one day, I had some too much seasoning on, and it was not good so not next time I get less seasoning no favor. So I stop going. Now maybe ? 8 years later I go here still to much with the seasoning and black people don't need high blood pressure or pay to get high pressures. So I won't be returning to hook and fish agian also this place had a nasty smell.
