Welcomed upon entering with a smile by hostess and seated within a minute even though 15 minutes before reservation. Acknowledged by server and offered beverages shortly after were brought quickly. Offered a few minutes to decide our orders. Meals were delivered timely and were delicious. Server was very attentive and friendly.
Always solid. Had great service from Chloe and enjoyed the 3 course dinner. Very good selection of menu items.
Houlihans is a good place for us....the chocolate cake dessert is delicious.....wait time to get your food is usually a little slow, but we are used to that......
There was no goat cheese on my salad, hardly any dressing, and it's supposed to be a summer berry salad and there wasn't too many berries on it!!
Went for Father's day dinner, party of 7. Cindy was terrible. House salad consisted of shredded lettuce, corn and two rotten tomatoes. Took 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar. Had to have food runners refill beverages that ran out before we got dinner. Cindy didn't take one dirty dish from our table the whole time. Then added some other tables food to our bill. Not sure how training goes but she should definitely revisit training. Food wasn't liked by many. Best thing was the pretzel. Sorry we picked this restaurant for Father's Day.
It is very difficult to sit within the restaurant without a reservation. Ended up at the bar area, I watched the entrance the entire 1.5 hours while dining, and no one came in with reservations other than the bar area. If there is a server shortage, advise the customer, requiring reservations is stupid with an empty restaurant.
We had salads that were very good. I had the Heartland Grilled Chicken salad that included pecans, cheddar cheese, and bacon , among other ingredients. I will go back!
My friends and I chose Houlihan's for our friend's birthday celebration. The food and service were superb! Very friendly servers. We received our meals very quickly and our orders were accurate! We will be returning soon.
It's fine overall. Liked our server this time. Stood out as she paid attention and checked in on us. Food is fine. Somewhat bored with it. But serviceable and decent enough if there us no major craving.
Great happy hour, great overall place to eat. The servers are attentive and the managers ask if everything’s ok.
The bartenders are just wonderful! A good place for a 1st meetup or for a girls or guys night out and also for the family.
My fav entree are the fish tacos. YUMMY! Honestly, I can’t find them anywhere I like as much as here.
My friend and I at Houlihan’s for our girl’s night!:)

Waited for over an hour and a half before server came back and told us he lost our order. Truly not acceptable. Had to move empty drink glasses to another table so we had room for when our appetizers finally arrived. Will be awhile before we go back again. Our reservations were at 7:00 we finally left at 9:15.
Though the restaurant was busy service was not bad. The best part of this restaurant are their value meals which include appetizers, entrees and desserts. We would definitely go back!
The guys behind the bar are some of the best bartenders in Pittsburgh. I wouldn't say I'm a regular there but I'm there semi often and you would think you were their best friend. But good drink deals, nice selection of taps and bottled beers it can get really crowded however.
Nothing new to share about Houlihan's. I like to dine here with family because it's easy to get to and consistent. Food is good. Service this trip was great! Indoor parks is a plus.
We eat at Houlihan's often, and are usually happy with everything.. This time, we had a party of 5. We were sat at the first round table when you walk in to the restaurant. It was loud and very out in the open. We were told by our waiter that the kitchen was very busy and we waited awhile for our appetizer. (there were several empty tables around us). Then, when he brought our meals out the food was average at best. The tuscan bean salad was prepared differently than usual and beyond too garlicky. The waiter said that they ran out of things and the cook just threw together whatever they had in the back. If I would have known that I would not have ordered that as too much garlic upsets my stomach. My husband's salmon (asked for medium well), was visibly burnt/charred and hard/overcooked. The waiter just said sorry and moved on. He was a little abrupt and seemed in a rush the whole time we were there. It was not the same experience or good meals that we are used to at Houlihan's, Mt. Lebanon. Very disappointing.
