The exterior is not lit and very hard to find, the food was oily and the chicken had an interesting texture. The Rice was overcooked and gummy. I hate to have to write this post, but I’m on the hunt for the best Asian place in Pittsburgh

This was our first time ordering take out from Hunan Palace. We are very happy with our choice. The steamed dumplings are big and fresh with a delicious dipping sauce. We also ordered wonton soup, egg drop, moo goo gai pan, lo mein, and pork fried rice. The portions are really good. We will definitely be ordering again. Hot,fresh and flavorful. You wont be disappointed.

Hunan Palace used to be much better. We ordered tonight for the first time in a few years, and after moving to Forest Hills, and it was very disappointing. We literally had to throw away three entrees because they were inedible. Orange chicken was not cooked and pork lo mein tasted like it was starting to spoil. The kids didn't mind the white rice and steamed vegetables, but for $85, this was a bad night for our family. We won't be ordering again.

I really like the chicken fried rice. And for $11 you get a ton! Service was very good too.

I really wanted to like it cause it has the best kind if dumpling- chonky bois. They were good but not amazing.
The Capital Chicken was a weird version I've never seen before. Very watery, bland taste. It's not the flat crunchy capital chicken.
Service was top tier!!! Very friendly staff~ I'd recommend trying it out for yourself.

I ordered broccoli with fried rice. Was surprised to hear that it came with white rice but I wanted fried I had to pay an extra $2.50. My order cost over $20 and the portion was not even that big. I will say the food was good and prepared the way I liked it but it’s just way overpriced so I won’t be back.

I would give a zero if it was an option. I ordered broccoli in garlic sauce. The broccoli was not fresh and it was over cooked or over steamed, or may be prepared in advance, but they were just a few of very small pieces of broccoli crown with very long parts of the stalk which were not chewable. The sauce was disappointing and completely unremarkable. Would not recommend!
