Amazing experience with Samantha! We had a gnocchi experience. She made everything very simple, very delicious and made us feel very comfortable. She made us feel at ease asking as many questions as we wanted. The overall experience was a 10/10. I would recommend over and over again!

Excellent class. Sam showed us knife skills, flexible recipes, and the food we made was exceptional. We had the ceviche, skirt steak, avocado relish, a roasted red pepper sauce, and a very easy bread pudding.

My wife and I had an incredible experience taking the “Gnocchi from Northern Italy” class! Making gnocchi from scratch was such fun, and Chef Samantha was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel, extremely, comfortable. We learned a lot and feel confident we can make delicious gnocchi in our kitchen for when we have guests for dinner. Also, the Caesar Salad was easy to make and, absolutely, delicious. We highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to improve their skills and enjoy a great time! The best compliment I can give Chef Samantha is the gnocchi’s tasted just like my Mom (who was 100% Italian and came from the old school when it came to authentic Italian cooking) use to make when I was a child. Thank you Chef Samantha. It brought back great memories.

We’ve used Samantha Sloan and Hungry for Time catering three times now, and each experience has been absolutely flawless. In an office full of different tastes and picky eaters, it's rare to find a catering company that everyone loves — but Samantha has managed to do just that. Every time we’ve had her food, the compliments start flying as soon as lunch is served.
What really sets Hungry for Time apart from other catering services in the Pittsburgh area is the consistency. With some companies, I’ve gotten mixed reviews from the team — not with Samantha. She’s always on point, delivers exactly what we ask for (and more), and her attention to detail shows in every dish.
If you’re looking for a reliable, crowd-pleasing catering company in Pittsburgh, this is it. We can’t wait to work with her again!

We utilized Hungry for Time for our wedding catering in January and could not recommend Samantha enough for any food service needs. She worked with me in VERY Un-ideal conditions at our venue and navigated a less than helpful venue coordinator, all to ultimately deliver absolutely delicious food that felt like it was a reflection of my husband and my taste, bold flavors, clean, and in no way bland! It is now May and I still have people messaging me about our wedding food. If you are pricing catering for any event, I am sure you have gotten numbers back enough to make you weep, but Samantha delivered on amazing meal options (all gf or vegan optional) .. plated!!! And in budget!!!
Samantha literally made my wedding food dreams come true and I can credit a portion of how perfect our day was, to her. I would 100% call her again if we ever have a need for catering in the future! I wish I had taken a photo but at this point in the evening I don't think I even knew where my phone was :)

You must hire Hungry For Time for your next event!!!! Samantha is an amazing chef! She caterered my daughter's Bridal Shower and everyone raved about the food and how delicious it was. We served: The Breakfast Bake, Veggie Quiche Bites, Roasted Asparagus with Goat Cheese, Antipasto Skewers, Baby Greens Garden Salad, & Fresh Fruit Salad. Thank you again Samantha!
