This is my first time to a Hungarian restaurant. And I was not disappointed. The inside of the bar restaurant looks like you're walking into the past. We ordered some of the more traditional Hungarian dishes. And we were really impressed by the care for which each one was prepared. I got to meet the owner who told me the restaurant had been open for about 10 years now and that it was best to get a reservation before you go. We had so much fun eating and trying new dishes....
This was my first time here and it was amazing!! It is my new favorite place. The owner is a sweetheart and I loved everything about this restaurant from the warm welcome, to the food, the beer, and the decor was perfect! Thank you!! ❤️
If you're a Hungarian food lover, we'd recommend giving Huszar a try! The owners are both Hungarian, and it's a delight to engage Judy in conversation about the country and the cuisine. Hubby had the chicken paprikas and loved it, plus the gulasch soup, which he proclaimed tasted just like his mother's. (Luckily to his mind this was a good thing! Nostalgia!)
