The food was salty my son nor I could enjoy it! When I told the waitress she brushed it off. I brought the many leftovers home and my son couldn't eat it either because of the salt. This was from the kitchen side. Never again Ichiban! I love salt, but not that much!!

Service is a disasterFood okWatch cause they will over charge you and then Mason the manager will argue with you and try justify the charges then try call cops.I agreed to just pay bill even though over charged. Mason the owner/ manager preceded to get smart so I left. He followed me out the restaurant and continued to try to argue and holler with me.

Very bad horrible experience. More like a McDonald’s hibachi. Manager mason so unfriendly. Do not recommend.

Ichiban means 'Number One' in Japanese. Does the place live up to that name? Well, I don't know what Number Two is in Japanese, so I'd say so.It's darn good.

I’ve NEVER had such a bad experience just speaking to someone on the phone. The manager hung up on us when asking to bring a party in..was Unwilling to accommodate us and told me we called too late. Before this the hostess told me “come in and we’ll see if we’ll seat you.” We haven’t been in town in a year and were looking forward to going..we’ll take our business to the Wexford location.

It's always a fun time and a tradition when we come to Pittsburgh for Irish dance! Hibachi is our favorite, and our chefs are almost always such a treat!!Vegetarian options: They are able to make orders separately in the back if worried about cross-contamination, veggie hibachi I'd very good!!Dietary restrictions: I've had a few friends with gluten allergies (Celiac) come eat with us here, and they're really amazing at making the food in the back for them to accommodate and avoid cross contamination!!

Experience and food better at the Waterworks one. Couldn't get vegetables because of allergies. Waterworks made sure to take care of their customers with allergies.Dietary restrictions: They could not accommodate.

The food was excellent! The service was good and the chef was entertaining. Portion size was fair, my only complaint is they put your tip on the bill, I can understand this to a point, but after billing me $30 tip on my bill, they brought back for my signature and asked for an additional tip on the recite, so watch the billing and make sure your not tipping them twice.
