I had just come back a week earlier from an epic Scandinavian trip during which I visited IKEA restaurants in Norway, Denmark and even Sweden. So my expectations might have been unfairly high. Sadly, the American version in Pittsburgh just could not hold a candle to what’s going on over there. The food was of course predictable, but somehow bland and not hot. Lower stars for non-working fountain drinks, fewer offerings and also the hotdog and ice cream stand was closed. The employees were wonderful, though I have to say. In all, we made the most of it, but left a little disappointed. In case you’re wondering, the food in IKEA Stockholm was the best we had. Home court advantage, no doubt.

We came an hour just for the restaurant, and guess what? IT IS CLOSED.
We checked the WEBSITE and GOOGLE MAP before hand, NO ONE SAID ITS CLOSED
Now all of us have to WALK an hour to find the only restaurant that opens nearby.
WHY YOU CLOSE AT 5???????!!!!!!!!

Second time we showed up and the restaurant closed early. Would be nice if they posted accurate hours.
Love IKEA! We usually always grab lunch which is Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes! It’s always usually pretty good for what it is!

Love a good Ikea meal
Such nice people and wonderful food!
Don’t underestimate the IKEA food court. Behind its modest setup hides an unexpectedly solid and genuinely tasty menu. This isn’t just a pit stop between aisles - it’s a comfort zone for those who appreciate honest, simple food done right.
I find myself coming back here from time to time just to enjoy that familiar, comforting flavor. IKEA’s food court is more than a quick bite - it’s a low-key culinary hug.
We love Swedish meatballs.
The restaurant is Clean and bright with a great view. Plenty of tables and plenty of food.
Yummy Swedish meatballs. Sooooo delicious. 😋
Ikea food is great, the new veggie balls are really delicious, nice variety of desserts.

Second time I've driven out here and the kitchen was inexplicably not open, not giving one star because it's not like the food was bad- it's just that there was none

Guilty pleasure, comfort food. Served up cafeteria style. The cafe is located halfway through your IKEA walking tour. You'll find some Swedish style meals and yummy treats. If you haven't stopped by, I'd say it about time you tried. No true visit to IKEA is complete unless you experience and try the famous meatballs. No passport required.

The restaurant in IKEA is always a must stop while shopping. Not only is IKEA one of the most interesting home shopping places, they were genius in the design of the store. You’ve got to love a place that you can shop & have a beautiful place to sit down & eat a yummy meal. The architecture & design of the restaurant is gorgeous & the food simply delicious. It’s a cafe that you walk through the smorgasbord of goodies to pick & choose what you want. The Swedish meatballs are always a win for me.
