This establishment has excellent cookies, terrible staff, and for a place that serves food and ice cream. The staff continually say that there’s a bathroom for employee use only Won’t even let first responders in uniform use it. The gentleman behind the counter was very unprofessional and I hope that the city of Pittsburgh looks into this since nobody has a place to wash their hands that come in off the street to purchase cookies or use the restroom it is truly sad. is that the owner of this establishment condone this kind of behavior hopefully it’ll change one day, but I truly doubt it, but the cookies are good though. Just make sure you wash your hands before you go into the building.

Totally ignored by the person behind the counter for 5 minutes straight the other employee totally ignorant on their phone sitting off to the side. It was not like they were incapable of serving us because one was playing on their phone. They acted like we did not exist. Awful service undeserving of anyone’s money. After we finally walked out in shock, I took my phone out and both employees seemingly hid as to not be photographed as seen in the photo, the store appeared empty when I looked up to take a picture.
Edit: this was a reflection of how I felt in the moment. Looking back on it the workers in the store gave us 0 SERVICE, in fact, they did not even pay us attention. This disrespectfulness left us feeling insulted and treated like garbage as customers. We will not be coming back ever!

First time trying Insomnia cookies I wasnt paying attention to description of ice cream. Wasn't disappointed after how it taste. Cookie was so soft, PURPLE ICE CREAM made me felt like I was in a dream.

Great spot for a late night sweet treat. The classic Insomnia Cookies experience, nothing crazy special or lackluster, always consistently comforting. I love the deluxe cookies by themselves, or topped with the ice cream! Favorites are the oatmeal, peanut butter, and anything with gooey chocolate.

Found Insomnia while in Pittsburgh and thought we would check them out. The cookies were fresh!! Super fresh and warm;). I did not have any issues. And amazing they had gluten free chocolate chip cookies!!
If you decide to do delivery you may as well go to the store and help them cook and deliver them. You could go see a trilogy before getting them. Plus you can't even refund the order since they don't update the delivery app.

Google says they are open at 11. Double checked the website. Went there at 11:05, not open, no sign on the door, waited 10 minutes, nothing. Left and got a cookie at subway.
