Insomnia Cookies restaurant sells cookies in a variety of flavors: double-chocolate mint, white-chocolate macadamia, salted caramel, s'mores, chocolate-chip brownie, confetti, vegan chocolate chunk, vegan double-chocolate chunk, gluten-free chocolate chip, and many others. The restaurant also sells some ice creams, cookie cakes, and drinks. The restaurant is small, but I was not planning on eating there. Soon after I entered the front door, an employee came out of the back. He rang up my purchase of cookies and put them in a sturdy box. I thought that the cookies smelled fresh and were a large size. At home, my husband and I ate the cookies. I rate the oatmeal raisin as 4.5 stars, the peanut-butter chip as 4.5 stars, the snickerdoodle as 4.5 stars, and the vegan birthday cake as 4 stars. My husband ate the chocolate chunk, double-chocolate chunk, and M&M cookies, and he described them as "good."

They have my favorite ice cream is in right now the dreamweaver flavor is so good. I also tried a snickerdoodle cookie that's always nice. The staff is so nice and patient even when we came in a kind of large group which was appreciated. The store has good vibes as well it's small but cozy

Everything on thier menu is gold but a little pricy. Classic and signature cookies are nice. Also the red velvet cookie tastes too good. Ice cream is good though, but they don't give single scoop.
Tried to order a day ahead of time and chose a given 2 hour period where I would receive the delivery. Now 30 minutes after the end of the delivery period and having called multiple times I find out that the order will be on its way "momentarily". Their customer service is outsourced to some random location and refuses to actually help. Instead they are so focused on shoving a "standard of care" down your throat to the point you can not actually talk. Calling is not helpful for locating your order either as their trackers do not actually follow the drivers. I would have rather gotten a refund over their proposed solution of a gift card because I will not be ordering from them again.

The delivery service is awful, we ordered 2 weeks in advance 6 cookies and an ice cream in a cup. The day of deliver they sent me a message with the eta 12-2 pm, I waited till 4 and I have to call to service to let them know that my order hasn't been delivered, finally it arrived at 5:26 pm but it was incomplete, one of the 6 cookies was red velvet in the order and it was switched by other kind of cookie and the ice cream was missing.

I was excited about going but once I got in I was expecting something different and grand. Yes, it's cookies but warm cookies, no display on the countertop, and in a tight and small location.

I stopped by the south side location on Monday to pick up a free cookie that was being promoted on the app. Once inside, the employee explained that she was the only one working and was over her head in orders that she needed to fill. She had no cookies except their holiday cookie. She was unaware of the app promotion but wanted to accommodate me for the commute and inconvenience. I received the holiday sugar cookie with white chocolate chips. The cookie was so good I ended up eating two ! Soft in the middle with a bit of a crunch around the edges. For the scheduling manager: there's no way one person can bake, ring orders, and effectively serve customers! Please schedule at least two employees at this establishment to keep your customers and employees happy.

On December 4th at 8:05 PM I was so excited to get my $1 Deluxe cookie on National Cookie Day or whatever. Me and my friend walk in and ask if we need the app, the worker barely looks up from her ipad and removes a single headphone and tells us "obviously you need the app." We were shocked and scared. After downloading the app, we asked if they were doing the deluxe cookie deal, the worker says "yeah" so I asked for reeses deluxe and she responds "we are out of deluxe." we left because we felt disrespected and embarrassed. The worker tonight was terrible to say the least. She made us feel dumb and sad. All I wanted was my deluxe cookie but all I got was my heart shattered. #neveragain Thx for nothing insomia cookies oakland.
