Overpriced, mediocre pizza at best. We’ve had Iron Born three times - each time at the Millvale location. The first time wasn’t great but we thought it was an off day. Gave it a second try and ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was really good. Ordered it yesterday, and it was some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. That was our last time ordering Iron Born. $18 for a square 6 slice pizza that tastes like the chicken was dehydrated and the pizza was reheated from the night before isn’t worth it! There are soooo many pizza places it Pittsburgh to choose from. Don’t waste your money here! Quality standards are low and consistency is not key!
The food and service was excellent! Definitely will be back.

Got delivery via GrubHub and the food still arrived hot/fresh. The pizza still had the crisp, We really enjoyed it. We'll have to visit the location next time to give it a proper review, but I can definitely see it being 5 stars if it's consistent next visit.

The food was amazing. We had great pizza. I would totally get it again. That honey hot is delicious. I gave it 4 stars for service because we waited a long time, and it's not that big of a place to be waiting. Same with the atmosphere, it was sort of loud, and some of the staff seemed to be overwhelmed. Also, there is no pineapple upside-down down cake... I really wanted to get that. Lol

Visiting from KC. This pizza was so good. Crisp outer crust, light and airy consistently throughout. Great beer selection and atmosphere. Came here with a mix of 15 people, adults and kids, after a 2 day taekwondo tournament. We travel a lot and always do pizza afterward. Everyone loved their choices and we even took orders back to KC. You can buy the beer glasses. So sad they were out of the ugly sweater.

We ordered the white pie it was really sweet and no taste of garlic in the sauce at all. Kind of disappointed.

Listen, I don’t get excited about pizza very often, but the White Pie from Iron Born could possibly be an all-timer for me. The unique flavor combinations made for a surprise in every bite. Will look forward to another visit on my next trip to Pittsburgh.

Gluten free pizza is pretty good but the creamy garlic sauce is not GF so there are limited options.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza available but limited other GF options.

If you're going to offer a Gluten Free option PLEASE educate your staff that having a gluten allergy isn't a choice. I stopped by tonight after hearing about the GF pizza. I was very rudely told by the bar tender that you were out of it (ok, no big deal, it happens I'm used to it). Then when I polielty said we couldn't eat there (because there's not much else GF on the menu) the bar tender shoves her hand on her hips, rolls her eyes and shouts "FINE!"
I've had to deal with many food service workers dismissing my allergy or being annoyed with a special order but this has to have been the most ridiculous and childish reaction I've encountered.
I will not be returning.
Dietary restrictions: Call ahead to see if they have the gluten free crust otherwise their bartender will get angry at you and cause a scene if they are out and you have to leave to eat somewhere else.
