We got Adana and Kotfe kabob. food was fresh and very delicious. service was very good. My only small suggestion would be to have Turkish music on to improve the vibe.

Super sweet place, very nice and responsive staff .. would have loved some form of substitution for the things that made the vegan versions of items vegan, instead of them just lacking the meat/non-vegan items. For instance, the imam biyildi was offered without butter in the rice, but still served with yogurt sauce. Would have been great with hummus or tahini instead of the yogurt sauce! And soy crumbles/TVP would be a great addition to bulk it up instead of simply removing the protein all together. Also would recommend another form of grilling or toasting pitas, they were a little more charred flavored than I've had pita before. Maybe this is a cultural thing, not sure. Overall loved it though!

Delicious food made from fresh ingredients.
The service was excellent. The owner & his wife are warm and genuinely enjoy sharing their dishes with customers.
This is the opposite of franchise food. Whole foods, homemade served by people who focus entirely on customers enjoying the food in a cozy and comfortable environment.
A trip to a local restaurant in Turkey without leaving Pittsburgh.
Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

I've only been here once but the food was good. They allow you to bring your own drinks which is a welcomed feature that all restaurants should allow. The place is cozy and the service was great. Very hospitable and when it came to the check, they went above normal service and divided the checks evenly. We had a group of 9 people, 9 entrees and 3-4 appetizers. Everyone got their own bill for the entree and all the apps were split evenly among the whole group. Great service and attention to detail. I would for sure come back when in town again.

I like the food, but the portions are way too small. It doesn’t feel like they’re meant for one person. I ordered several dishes, but the portions were still tiny. Honestly, it’s not worth the money.

Friendly waitress and terrific food. My wife and I shared grilled lamb and grilled salmon. The grilled meats are well-cooked, delicious, and served with a plate of rice and salad. Great atmosphere. One of the FEW places in Pgh that has their music level just right for mealtime and conversation.

It was okay. I had the eggplant stuffed with lamb, and they also brought out pita and hummus since my food was taking a while. The overall flavors could've been stronger but it wasn't bad.

Yup, the food was wonderfully delicious. Get the Haydari (yogurt dish) with the lamb chops. The Bosphorus salad was my favorite, so colorful and delicious. All the meats on the lamb platter so tasty and easy to devour. The Turkish coffee was fun, so cute, but half mud was not well cared for here. The Kazandibi milk pudding dessert tastes just like roasted marshmallows s’mores- delicious!! I’ve never had better homeade baklava :)

The lamb doner kebab was so delicious, and they gave so much meat in the dish. And the rice is great too. I also recommend the hummus and pita bread.

Definitely some of the best Turkish food I've had in the area. I'd say skip the hot appetizer sampler and pick out the appetizers you like, as it wasn't our favorite. Literally everything was perfect on the Bosphorus Shawarma Sampler though. Every single bite. The desserts and tea were really nice as well.
