We ordered online and they told us 15-20 minutes. It was over a 2 hour wait and waited in store for over an hour before we received the food. We showed up 30 minutes after ordering and they hadn’t started on our order. No apology and poor customer service. Multiple other customers ahead of us had similar experiences.

However, the sushi was very fresh and I would go back for the food.

Stop scrolling and just map here and go already! I grew up on the island of Guam with a wide variety of fresh authentic Asian food at my fingertips. Often eating Asian food is sad for me because it is so far from what I remember and reminds me of how far away I feel from the Pacific Ocean. Now that I’ve found this place, there’s nowhere else I will be going when I’m homesick and hungry. The owner and his family are simply precious, radiating quiet kindness and familial warmth to every guest who came in. They are a new restaurant, but the owners (both chefs) knew people by name and asked new guests their names, and served exquisite and beautiful food I will be thinking about for days. If you can, bring a friend with you so you can share something from Japan and something from Thailand on your first visit. You won’t regret it. Oh, and the donuts…

Vegetarian options: Most menu items can be made vegetarian or vegan!

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, very relaxed and unpretentious, owners are parents and happy to host children.

We went to this spot on a Sunday night for some sushi and Thai. The place is so cute and the workers are so nice and attentive. We got the itamae appetizer which was perfect. The spring rolls were the best I’ve ever had. The sushi is fresh and beautifully presented. Both of mine and my boyfriend’s meals were so tasty and filled with flavor. Pad see ew and steak teriyaki are a must!!! Over all an amazing spot with good food and a wonderful staff😁 my new favorite Thai spot.

Friends had been raving about this place since they opened a few months ago. I finally made it there this week for what I call "emotional support sushi" and WOW!
The Mt. Lebanon roll was incredible. So. Much. Tuna. And so fresh. The Crab Rangoon was such a delight with the touch of curry inside!
It's been 2 days since that first trip and went back today to order for the whole family. My son loved the Udon soup! The ginger dressing is so good. And the Yummy Yummy roll, Dragon roll, and Spicy Tuna rolls? PERFECTION. Best sushi I've ever had. I can't wait to dive into some Thai dishes and desserts on the next order. So thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood!

Can I give 10 stars? Small and compact place. Packed for a reason. Very local feeling place. Half the patrons knew the owners. We went on a busy Thursday and they were pressed. Service was slower than some places, they made up for it with kindness and attentiveness.

Definition of family operation and they are doing it wonderfully. A diamond in the Ruff if you will.

BYOB. Food was top notch. Sushi was Michelin star level. Green Curry was slap your mama good. Mango sticky rice, salmon belly sashimi, rainbow roll, Heck even the simple avocado roll all of.it was 5 stars. REAL WASABI!!!! Just ask for it.

Love. This. Place.

Love the food, love the owner, good ramen, great gyoza, and my favorite sushi rolls in town. Stop by, get the Yolo roll, a Thai iced tea, and tell the owner I said hi!

UPDATE: I really enjoy coming in during off hours, sitting at the bar, and asking the owner a little about the food! So much good stuff to try.

In a town full of good Asian restaurants, Itamae is excellent. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Thai donuts and banana tempura were unbelievable. Poke bowl, ramen and fried rice were exceptional. Can’t wait to come back.
