Most reviews are 1 or 5 which sums the place up perfectly. You either get it or you don't. If you want a good honest dive with 'eclectic' patrons, efficient bar staff, stiff drinks ,.smoking and a jukebox, it's for you. If not,.don't go.
This place deserves to be on the Mt. Rushmore of dive bars. Awful cheap beer selection? Check. Home-made art? Check. Clouds of cigar smoke? Check. Diverse bunch of day drinkers? Check. Booze prices on the bottles in Sharpie? Check. Spotless, graffiti free bathrooms? Check. This place is heavenly.
This place rocks. Great Bloody Mary's and nice cold beer. I tried Iron City beer for my first time, and think that it's great too. Patrons are cool, and staff are efficient and friendly. Will stop there again this October when I go to watch the Penguins play again.
