Normally really good. I hate posting only negative reviews, but on 2 occasions out of 7 or 8 we received dry flavorless old food. I always get the basi phenom burger and this is the second time it was dry with an old dry bun dry overcooked mushrooms nasty old beer cheese and completely flavorless. I took one bite and then tried to save it by drenching it in mayo but no dice. For 11 dollars it wasn't worth it. How the hell do you serve something like that and claim it won some sort of best of Pittsburgh contest. After complaining they gave me half off even though it was almost completely in tact. I never complain but what the hell.

Local bar that offers good food. Check out the specials like wing night or happy hour at 8.
I stopped in on a Saturday around 4 PM to get one of their famous burgers. After my waiter brought me a beer, only then did he inform me that they were out of beef. Apparently someone on the staff went to get it but he didn't give me a timeframe for when it would be arriving. Since I already had my beer, I couldn't leave to get a burger elsewhere. The burgers were the sole reason I was there and this was my first visit to Jamison's. Disappointed, I ordered the PGH'er Craft Basi Burger. The bottom of it was overcooked and burned. I like kielbasa, but not burned. The pierogies helped the taste a bit, but being overcooked and half burnt basically ruined it. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, but I wouldn't return. Not having your main signature dish, hamburgers, on a Saturday, then burning the alternative doesn't make me want to rush back.
Love this lil spot
Service was killer
Burger was solid as well
Tried the sunrise with bacon and an egg
The bacon stixs are a great idea and fun play on bacon
Great prices too
Added bonus Phil Bourgue was in house as well!
Nice place with great crab cakes!
I visit her occasionally. There food is very good and the location is convenient when I'm meeting friends.
Kid-friendliness: Seems like more of an adult hangout.

Our food arrived as expected, everything was correct and service was attentive as usual. Drink specials are rotated often and the menu specials are always on point. Consistency is key in maintaining a good business and Jmos doesn't disappoint. If you're looking for comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere, try this place.
