They really need to update the website to show current flavors when I got there they didn’t have the flavor that they had advertised on their website.

I've visited Jeni's twice in the past week because I just can't get over how good it is. My current favorite flavor is the Brown Butter Almond Brittle. It's seriously amazing. I also love the Salted Peanut Butter with chocolate flakes and Darkest Chocolate. The service is always super friendly and despite being busy most of the time, quick but not rushed. I love trying different flavors and the staff is always so patient. A little pricier for ice cream but worth it on splurge days!

Jeni's is a boutique ice cream shop, attempting to compete with other ice cream shops in the top-end price range ($6-7 for 2 scoops). I've gotten ice cream from here once, have walked past the store numerous times and it's always busy. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get your ice cream with an average size line. The decor is new, the shop is new and was totally redone for the opening of the store. There is very limited seating inside, and the line snakes through the entire building, so you likely wouldn't want to eat inside anyway. In terms of cost, you're paying $6.50 for 2 scoops, plus $1.50 for a cone, so $8 for ice cream. This is at the top end of what I would expect to pay, competing with premium ice cream pints you could get at a grocery store, and scoops at all other ice cream shops. For example you can get a pint of Ben and Jerry's for around $7.00 at the Rite Aid a 3 minute walk away (or $5.50 at the giant eagle a 3-5 minute drive away), which will generally be loaded with more toppings than Jeni's, have slightly less creamy taste, but you don't need to wait in line for 15 minutes. Compared with other boutique ice cream stores, I prefer Churn in Southside which is a few minute drive away. Prices are similar but service is much faster, scoops are larger, and you're supporting an actual local business instead of a national chain. The cones are better at Jeni's, as they are made fresh and have almost a stroopwafel caramel taste, but the ice cream is comparable to premium pints, and I prefer the taste of Churn's over Jeni's. Overall, Jeni's doesn't do anything special enough to deserve a 4 or 5 star review, so it's sitting at an average 3, just fine. If half stars were possible it would get 3.5, the extra .5 being for the unique cone flavor.

Pretty good! Interesting flavours. Everything we tried was good. The waffle cone was salty, which was interesting. Maybe a little odd on it's own, but goes nicely with the ice cream. Advertised as fair trade, etc etc. Not a ton of seating inside, but there is some.Dietary restrictions: Several dairy free optionsWheelchair accessibility: Level main entrance. Also has a ramp at the back.

Stopped here while waiting for Karu to have a table. Total random stop, and probably the best part of our trip! Loved the lavender ice cream and lemon bar together!Dietary restrictions: Several dairy free options.Parking: Parking garage right around the cornerWheelchair accessibility: Door is not automatic, but the space itself would be easy to navigate once in the door

I didn't hate the ice cream, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. I like most ice cream, but I didn't like most of the flavors that I tried there. My husband really likes it though.

Worst ice cream I've ever had. The 3 flavors I tried all just tasted like milk.A scoop is tiny, about the size of an egg. The "standard" size is two tiny scoops, which leaves most of the bland waffle bowl empty. The freezer was set too cold so the ice cream had a very hard consistency making spoon use pretty difficult.I recommend literally any other ice cream place over this one.

Tastes very good but 2 scoops doesn’t get you very far. I’m not asking for A TON of ice cream, but a larger serving size would be awesome. Either way, taste was 10/10.
