After trying with seven different kinds of sandwiches, my favorite meat choices are beef and Turkey.

Clerks with terrible attitude and extremely rude. Came in and said good evening and the clerk looked at me like saying oh my god another customer , and did not answer back proceeded to make my sandwich and just slammed it on the counter and said here you go, very rude

Somehow this place is better when it’s busy. I’ve gone in a few times before noon for lunch with only a couple people in there and each time there’s something missing or wrong with it when I get back to my office. At this point the ease of dropping by doesn’t outweigh the inconvenience of my order not being something I want to eat.

The sandwich was great, great atmosphere with hip-hop music and staff sharp. I believe there is a Jimmy John's not far from my place, I will be going there for lunch tomorrow. Thanks, David

I was in line and saw an employee ride a bicycle in there and then just go to work tapping the screen. No washing hands....I left. I won't be going back.

First time in a Jimmy John's. Service was fast and friendly. I wasn't sure what I was getting on my sandwich but it ended up being fantastic. I left it up to the maker and they did not disappoint.

Typical Jimmy John's food, convenient location, but they mess up my order every time - usually forgetting my side options. Also, if you order through the app they never update the "ready for pick up" tracking info, so you just have to guess is your order is ready.

Friendly staff and great food, but if you have a wheelchair or need an accessible entrance, use the entrance from the street with help from a stranger to open the door. There are only stairs from the Union Trust Building's lobby (their wheelchair lift is being used for storage at the moment). If you work in the building and can't do stairs, to go all the way around to the street door, you need to go out of one of the accessible sides and up the hill, around the corner, then almost to the building entrance on that side. The door button does not work. Tell them ahead of time to put your pick-up order on a lower shelf if needed.Note: the employees are great. Accessibility is a corporate issue. Employees do what they can.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible from the building lobby. There are only stairs from the Union Trust Building's lobby (their wheelchair lift is being used for storage at the moment) and the door is heavy and requires grabbing an old door handle with a thumb latch. The main door button is also not working.

Recently, we started coming back into the downtown office at work. That being said, it has been a few years since I’ve last had Jimmy John’s (the last time was some time pre-pandemic) and I decided to stop by this location for lunch today, as I was craving a sub.Let me begin by saying that the meal I ordered at this location was absolutely delicious - the bread and meats tasted great and were very fresh; however, from a customer service experience, I had a bit of a “strange” experience.Since I know how quickly JJ’s likes to operate, I walked into the location and stepped aside to read the menu, so that other customers could pass me as they came in until I was ready to order, and their operations could continue while I decided. I probably stood there for about a minute or so, pondering what I wanted to eat (again, it’s been a few years) when the person at the register said, “Sir, are you here for an online pickup?” when I responded, “No, I’m still looking,” the individual made a comment, “Oh, so you just came in to look at our signs then? Cool…” and walked away before I had a chance to respond.Maybe I completely took it the wrong way, and she was trying to be funny; or something, but that’s not the way it came across to me. I’m sorry that it’s been a few years, and I wanted to look at the menu for a minute before I placed my order…Food = top notchCustomer Service = iffy

Called in for a take-out order onFeb 23, 2023 at 4:50pm. Walked by before calling and verified that it was not busy. Phone rang for approximately four minutes upon multiple calls before somebody answered. Employee sounded annoyed by my call as I asked to place an order for pickup. Employee stated that I could and when I begin to give my order to him he interrupted me and yelled into the phone, “no you listen to me first.” Confused by the way this call was going, I asked is this Jimmy John’s to ensure I had called the right number. Employee yelled yes now what do you want to order.I didn’t order anything because of this and never will order from there again

The staff is rude1 tells you not everything that's on a sandwichYou get the sandwich and there's items on it that weren't told to meAnother worker now informs me that I can't get a certain spread on this sandwich that was on the sandwich I rejectedI won't go to another Jimmy Johns

A solid, dependable Jimmy John's in that there's the same menu, same "freaky fast" service, and same sandwiches as anywhere else. This particular venue is in a prominent downtown location with seats offering great views of the Mellon and UPMC/US Steel towers across the street, plus lots and lots of seats spread out over a two-tier layout. So big, in fact, that I didn't venture all the way to the back where it looks like there's an exit into a concourse inside an office building. When I stopped by on a recent weekend day, I had virtually the entire place to myself, so after having already walked 10,000 steps exploring the city, this was a nice way to recharge inside where there was plenty of AC, free refills on my soda, and empty seats near power outlets for my phone.
