Amanda, the new GM, absolutely handled a rough situation very well. An employee had walked out and made a mess of the store, but Amanda stepped up and made everyone’s order very quickly and was so kind to those waiting. She rocks!!!!

I I ordered my sandwich and made it a slim, and I was then harassed and they were making fun of me and making me feel incompetent for making a sandwich my way, even though it is literally Jimmy John’s like just make my sandwich and put it in the bag.

My Daddy and I went to Jimmy John's in Oakland yesterday and this Woman named Amanda was really nice to us! She was so nice. And....they had Oatmeal Raisin Cookies that were so Yummy! I can't wait to go back again!

Avoid this place at all cost. This place is literally a public health hazard. I don’t know if this was the night team but came here at around 7:30 PM and witnessed them put a bucket of tuna on their sandwich preparation area. That bucket of tuna I guarantee you has been sitting places you don’t want to know and they literally put that on the sandwich preparation area.
They also had the most dysfunctional team members I’ve yet to see. There’s one guy who is actually making sandwiches and working hard. The other team members were just chaotic. I saw an employee wearing gloves and proceeded to cough in her gloves. This place seriously needs to learn some sanitation policies.
They proceeded to take forever to get our order. Then they said they never got our order. However, when we went home, we found out we were charged.
Overall, this location needs to fix its employee issues. You need to pay your good employees well and have better quality assurance.
I used to like coming to Jimmy John’s. I will never go back to this one again.

I was feeling kinda hungry, was in Oakland and stopped by Wednesday 12/04/24. The Manager Amanda was training two young guys . Everyone was very polite and nice. The Store was clean (not easy to do in such a busy place). This was probably the best Jimmy John's I have been to. Was impressed that two people who were being Trained knew as much as they did and worked well.
The lady man with the dreadlocks is miserable she works at jimmy johns taking it out on every customer swearing and very disrespectful

Must be under new management because when I first started going there it was great but now they close 30 minutes early (door locked) and they are constantly out of items and just tell you to go to Subway (not cool)
