Johnny's Diner is a friendly, family-oriented restaurant known for having the greatest breakfast in town. Guests feel like family as soon as they walk in. The Big Johnny’s breakfast is a must-try, especially with a French toast sub. The double bacon cheeseburger is also a standout. The home fries are the best in the city, and you can even add onions and peppers to them. Breakfasts are very filling and delicious, with the sausage gravy being exceptional. The diner is a quaint little place that offers breakfast and lunch only, but with daily lunch specials that are always good. The service is excellent, with staff working hard to serve customers quickly while cooking orders. The atmosphere is cozy, and many visitors enjoy the overall experience. While the diner could use some renovations, including new paint and flooring, its great food and friendly service make it well worth a trip. The diner still serves Pepsi Products as fountain drinks and remains one of the best places to eat in the Pittsburgh area.
