Had lunch here today with my Pitt student. We both had lunch plates. He had grape leaves, and I had kibbe. Both were really good and filling. Service was lovely and kind, and the decor was nice too! Will 100% be back!

Tried them for the first time today. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma and the Baba Ganoush. They were soooooooo good! And the amount of chicken you get in the shawarma is worth the price. It’s very tender too. It was also up there with the best baba ganoush that I’ve ever had. I highly recommend that you try this place.

I don’t go to Pitt anymore but when I did this was my weekly go-to for a good shawarma. Traditional flavors and very authentic. Run by a very nice Syrian family as well. Good people make good food!!

This is a wonderful restaurant, where the quiet and plant-filled atmosphere and the warmth of the purveyors complement the freshness of the food. My wife and I ate here as frequently as we could while my mom was in-patient at Presby, and it was a wonderful respite from the hospital (not to mention the hospital food). It was a bit shocking to us that there weren’t lines around the block. A gem hidden in plain sight! We couldn’t recommend it more.
