Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Both my husband and I selected this restaurant for the last night of our stay in the Pittsburgh area, and we left thinking we had chosen well. Highly recommend.
All the food was amazing. The pasta with the tomato basil sauce was fantastic. We loved all the appetizers, the meatball, the zucchini and the crab balls were out of this world.
The food was delicious but the appetizer came out and was not hot. While they appeared to have plenty of staff, our waitress had to go behind the bar for our second glass of wine. The bartender should have been able to fill our glasses in a timely manner. This is definitely a special occasion kind of place as the prices have gone up significantly since our last visit.
Great family restaurant
Exceptional food, great service, owner is phenomenal. We loved everything, as always, and will be returning.
Wonderful food and wonderful service. This was our first time being waited on by Ronnie & she was great!
Wonderful resteraunt with wonderful staff abd love poured into the food
I had an outstanding dinner with my family. Food was great, service was fantastic. It's what you would expect from Joe and his crew.
They used to provide better quality food years ago. Have not been there in years. Nice atmosphere, good service. Not noisy which is wonderful compared to other restaurants these days. The pasta with tomato sauce side was only so so; so was the veal piccata dish, and the chicken marsala we tried. The salad that comes with the meal was delicious. No gluten free desserts except a pecan ball, so did not try. For their high prices I expect better quality so we will not return.
The food is delicious from appetizers to desserts. The service is also excellent. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and able to make suggestions. Service was attentive without being too much. The prices are higher than some, but lower than some finer dining establishments. I like the location of being in a local neighborhood. On Stre parking worked okay. My only dismay with this restaurant is lack of handicap accessibility. There is no accessible entrance. You must be able to climb approximately six steps to enter.

Incredible dinner. Service was incredible. Great atmosphere!! Highly recommended!!
Just an absolutely wonderful night....food, service, ambiance! This family owned restaurant is a Pittsburgh gem!
Excellent restaurant! Great for special occasions. Everything tastes amazing.
We try and make it down a few times a year for special occasions or celebrations. The food is always outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always attentive and pleasant. Joe provides the best Italian meal in Pittsburgh and would most certainly be at the top of any list in the U.S. Always presented beautifully and full of flavor. The deserts are decadent and you won't find a better alfredo sauce anywhere!
Overpriced food, generally bland. I ordered a Bombay Sapphire Martini which set me back $18. What what? Many Italian restaurants do a lot better than this.
