The pork shank was among the best I've had ever. One of my other guests had it and gave me a bite. I will be back for it.

We had a very enjoyable evening at Tambellini's. We love the cozy ambience of the dining room and the gracious service. Our server Charlotte did a great job of pacing our meal service. We both had the special entree of Veal Lucca with veal medallions in marsala sauce topped with crispy proscuitto. Delicious! We enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar with Mike to finish a relaxing evening.

Our birthday meal was excellent. The porkchop was exquisite. Our waitress was attentive and impeccable. The price is high, but the quality is worth it. We'll definitely be back for more special occasions.

We had high expectations for our Valentine's celebration, but we were very disappointed. We were told that they were "out of their typical pork chop" and it was substituted with a pork chop that was the same price as the filet- we were the first customers at 4pm.. so, really? The waitress rushed us through dinner service and even took my bread plate away - while I was dipping the bread- I wasn't even done. She brought us the dessert menu while I was still eating my dinner and my wife was done eating. The pork chop was WAAAYYY over salted - we even heard another diner comment on it as well. I scrapped of the gross topping just so that I could eat. The meal was only average and definitely not worth the $250 bill for two people. The best part of the meal was the appetizer. The dessert tasted store bought. We won't be back. You should definitely avoid.

Outstanding on every level. Every bit of the experience was top notch. My Wife and I decided Joseph Tambellini is our new go to place. Thanks Joseph Tambellini. You are a true artist.

We went a Valentine's Day evening. Jeff had the Lobster & Shrimp Thermidor, which was a special that evening. I had the Seafood Melissa which is on their regular menu. Meals were served with a salad with special dressing that evening...bread and herbed dipping oil was very good. The meals were delicious and the portions generous. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and not overly pushing us to eat so a table could be turned over. We took our time eating and enjoying the evening.

Made a reservation. They never said it was for upstairs. When they couldn’t provide an ADA accessible table, we said we couldn’t keep the reservation. The manager told us “please don’t come back” when we wouldn’t make my 87 year old grandmother climb their decrepit stair case to the second floor.

It's always a pleasure to dine at Tambellini. Their food is prepared so carefully and looks beautiful on the plate. The cocktails are made with the same precision and they have a wonderful wine list as well as a terrific wine advisor (Melissa), who has introduced us to some wines that paired perfectly with our meal. I only wish we lived a little closer to Pittsburgh to dine there more frequently!

Joseph delivered as usual. Special thanks to David, our server. This Tambellini's delivers time and again. It's the perfect spot for special occasions. The old school family feel is wonderful. We'll be back!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in all of Pittsburgh hands down. At one level, It feels like a small neighborhood family Italian joint. But it is much more upscale in food and ambience. I would recommend Tambellini's be at the top of your dining choices. You won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for quality food this is the place. With every bite you can taste the best ingredients in the dishes along with being cooked with perfection. If you like Italian you are in for a treat! Fish-you will taste it done perfectly. Steak- chops etc. will melt in your mouth. If you never have been give it a try. Also a dessert menu to knock your socks off- recommend the simple pecan ball. WOW! In addition a plethora of wines and spirits and well as signature yummy cocktails. Also had the pleasure to meet the owners and they were nothing less than super pleasant, and great conversation.
