K-Station BBQ

I visited K-Station with high expectations. I was hoping this would be a regular place I could continue to grab meals while in the area. After actually visiting, I was very disappointed to say the least. In fact, I initially struggled to understand what their business model was. In the end, I decided that they are probably using their convenient location between CMU and University of Pittsburgh to target some of the wealthy students. That's the only way I can understand why someone would spend about $30 to recieve small portions wrapped up in the most minimal and flimsy packaging by service that wants to see as little of your face as possible. After my order number was called out my food was essentially thrown out the window. The unwrapped fork I was given nearly dropped to the ground. There was no time to ask for another fork before the window was shut in front of me.

I really enjoyed their spicy pork. Their poster is AI generated, but the Spicy Pork is Korean-guaranteed. They can definitely improve the service though. I had experiences that I was not notified when the food is ready. Overall, nice place to have a quick affordable and delicious lunch!

I needed a quick bite after visiting the Carnegie Museums and the bulgogi steak burrito was calling to me. I nice amount of fillings, with one slightly more meat and the other more rice, but burritos everywhere have this problem sometimes. It really hit the spot and I would come back!

Personals are not polite for customers ( exactly the girl wiring glasses she is always angry never see her smile) and dirty front counters I will not recommend to eat from this restaurant ever

Ordered food from them online. I wanted to cancel just because I last minute changed my mind but because they already started the order they still charged me, which is understandable but but I didn't end up getting the food and they kept the money :(

Ordered the Busan Box which was supposed to be bulgogi but tasted like a bad stir fry. Seemed like a dumbed-down version for people who don’t normally eat Korean food.

This place is simply awesome. A nice little spot that’s perfect for takeout. Their menu is kind of limited, but they have numerous Korean classics and some great fusion dishes. I decided to try their Korean bulgogi steak burrito.

It was spectacular. Way better than I had anticipated. The meat was tender and super flavorful. It’s not too spicy, and has a hint of sweetness to it. All the vegetables were super fresh and crisp. They do use quite a bit of rice, but I was quite alright with that. Great flavorful sauce.

The portion size itself wasn’t too large, but the price was also quite low, so I think the deal is pretty good.

All in all, I loved this place. Greta food for a very reasonable price. It’s a pretty perfect lunch spot. I definitely recommend the bulgogi burrito.

Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, but all the main dishes have meat. Breakfast burrito and such, yes it vegetarian I believe. And there is the mandu as well

We ordered the Busan Box (bulgogi beef and rice with veggies and kimchi). It was made quickly, tasted delicious, and generous portions. Schenley park is such a nice city park to visit, beautiful views and a variety of food options.

Everything I ordered was amazing. A great addition to Schenley park, my favorite item was the bulgogi cheesesteak. This will be my go to for a bite near the park.
