Ingredients were not fresh. I felt sick after eating the salmon poke.

Edit: used to be 2 stars upgrading to 5I thought there was an issue with my order (soy sauce instead of ponzu) and called the restaurant about it the next day where the employee said I could get a bowl on the house. I went in and he was super helpful letting me taste the sauces (upon which I realized that the ponzu just tastes like soy sauce and so the issue I had wasn't even an issue in the first place), and was generally super nice about itDidn't catch his name but he used the bowl that I was getting on the house to train / test a new employee and I could rly tell he cared about the new guy's learningI enjoyed my bowl a lot more after modifying the sauces :)Old review: I've had good experiences here in the past but the last one was kind of disappointingFirstly the bowls are way smaller than before (another review mentioned this as well). A bowl used to be almost 2 meals for me but now it is just 1 D:Also I got a ponzu salmon bowl but they put soy sauce instead of ponzu so now I just have really salty salmon D: and REALLY salty rice...

We like Kahuna, but just ordered from there tonight and the bowls have become tiny - like less than half the previous volume. The price has not changed. Difficult to justify the cost for this portion size.

Went twice over this past year and ordered two different types of signature bowl (ponzu salmon and kimchi salmon). Sooooo underwhelming. Very little fish and so much sauce.I won’t recommend the signature bowls at all. But if you’re nearby and want to try, I’d suggest “make your own” bowl option instead of the signature.

Kahuna is known for both their poke and juice offerings, so I decided to give at least one of those options I try. It's essentially summer so why not try their juice? I ordered the tropical tang smoothie.First thing I must note is the price, it's pretty expensive. Yes, I know it's a healthy shop and they probably use high quality ingredients, but still. $7 for a smoothie that isn't that big? It better be at least pretty good for me to spend that kind of money on it.Quality wise, it was just okay. I think it had way too much banana, as that was the main flavor and I couldn't really taste any other fruit like mango or pineapple. I could feel what I think was the bee pollen and it made for a slightly odd texture.Overall, it's not for me. Not bad, but just too expensive and the flavor just wasn't impressive. I may come back to try the poke bowls though.Vegetarian options: Tofu and salad options, smoothies, etcDietary restrictions: Lots of healthy food, ways to do paleo or keto

This place is decent for a quick bite and good people watching. Spicy tuna was spicy.

Besides the food being so delicious that I am willing to drive the hour that it takes to get there from my house, the service is awesome! The workers are so nice and patient with you, and one went out of their way to accommodate a food allergy I have. By far my fav place!!

Too much sauce, ugh. I’d had problems in the past with them putting too much sauce on my bowl so that the bottom was so salty I’d have to waste a bunch of the rice. Somehow I managed to get a couple good bowls with an appropriate amount of sauce but my latest order was drowning in what seemed like just chili sesame oil. My husband’s was the same. We’d both ordered “kahuna sauce” which I didn’t think was supposed to be pure oil… Anyway, the ingredients here are pretty fresh but it’s hard to get something edible made from them.

Made my own bowl with my favorite toppings. Great flavors in the sauce, and tuna and other ingredients were fresh. I have to say the food is great value to the price. However, I do with the base was a little more. Whether its rice or zucchini noodles (I chose zucchini noodles) I was there was more to balance out the abundance of sauce. Next time I would get the white rice, which I think will go well with the ponzu sauce.Otherwise, I would come back again for some more.

I was craving a green juice and I'm so thankful this place was open late it was super good and the place is so cute inside I need to come back to try the food!

White rice not cooked thoroughly. Salmon portion was relatively small even though I ordered large. If this were reasonably priced, the portion would not be an issue but it turned out to be quite pricey. I ordered kimchi salmon. I didn’t taste any “kimchi” about it. Not recommending this place.

It was our first time at Kahuna.Based on the area, you'll need to find parking either on the street or a parking garage. We spent roughly 45$ for 2 - $15 bowls with rice and then 2 'kids bowls' with rice, and 'veg' (we chose edamame and cucumber for each child based on their preferences and the employee helped us choose a topping for the kids bowls, advising what was spicy or enjoyed typically by other kids. There was no standard chicken or beef option, which does limit who I would be able to bring here based on pickiness. Overall I was very pleased, and the raw salmon in my bowl seemed high quality and was delicious.
