During our visit to Kelly O’s Diner, we had an unfortunate experience. From the start, the hostess at the door greeted our party of seven with an unwelcoming and irritated attitude, seemingly inconvenienced by our group size. The service continued to disappoint, as our waiter displayed a similarly dry and indifferent demeanor.
The food also fell short of expectations. It was not well-seasoned, overly salty, and the portions were surprisingly small. Altogether, the dining experience lacked the warmth and quality we had hoped for.
As visitors from Indianapolis dropping off our college student, we wanted to enjoy a nice meal in Pittsburgh. Based on this experience, we would recommend Pamela’s Diner instead, as it offers a far superior atmosphere and food.

Anytime we're traveling we always search out the local small businesses. My Fiance Kelly is right at home here at Kelly O's Diner in the Strip. Great way to start the day here in Pittsburgh with super hospitable fresh and fast breakfast. Everything from the spicy sausage, shrimp and grits and eggs Benedict were on point. Highly recommended when in town.
The food was amazing. The line moved quickly. Despite being crowded in the restaurant, the staff is so friendly and professional. I will be coming back whenever I come to Pittsburgh!
