I had the Turkey Bacon melt which was very good. All the staff were friendly, and for what we got the price was very reasonable. Overall made my visit to the Aviary even more enjoyable.
I went to the Aviary with my family and was blown away at the quality of their Cafe. I had their Turkey Bacon Croissant melt and it was delicious!
I’ve had a lot of things on the menu. My favourite thing by far is the pulled pork sandwich with an iced mocha. They have special items everyday and I love the variety. Kookie is cute too :)
Reasonably prices. Cute coffee spot

This is a lovely little takeout and eatery - and what is not to like for a place named after the wonderful, laughing Australian Bird - The Kookaburra!! I go whenever I am at the National Aviary. A limited but nice menu - the Daily special is usually delicious. Call ahead to see if they are open especially with the COVID -
The cafe coffee is amazing maybe a salad, but everything else is trashed a lot of processed food for the price. If you are trying to have a wedding here please make sure you have fresh foods a lot of it is bagged products. The chef uses his bare hands to prepare a lot of the food (which are not always clean) and in a pandemic can make people sick. The food is usually thrown into the oven with little care, and is not the best quality.
You will not be disappointed by anything you get here! I strongly encourage you to eat the daily special, if available, no matter what it is. Atria's does some magical things at the Kookaburra Kitchen!
Beverages are SCALDING HOT!!!Be careful when sipping!!!
