this place is pretty cool honestly, the tech is pretty crazy. i love the concept as well, and good service.

i just don't think the food is all that high quality unfortunately, definitely more of a quantity over quality vibe here.

A lovely experience, very cute. The garlic skipjack has to be the best sushi on the menu! It’s delicious. Everyone was kind and attentive. Jevon was our server and he was also incredible.

I find it weird there's not real people coming around to talk to you or check on you and there wasn't many vegetarian options and the fish was weird to me. I really didn't enjoy the experience. I guess you really have to like a lot of raw fish. A robot bringing me a drink is not good service to me. The staff that waited you wasn't very friendly either

This place is a fun revolving sushi bar spot! We went on a Friday at 7 PM, and the wait was about 20 minutes for 2 people. The sushi is decent, though there are better sushi spots in Pittsburgh. Love that they switch up the menu based on popularity, and the screen for extra orders plus the serving robot are cool touches. Worth trying for the experience!

Really disappointed. Loved this place when it opened. Went today to bring someone out of town and ranted and raved about it to her. When we got there, there was NOTHING on the conveyer. Nothing. We watched for 25 minutes or so and nothing came out. Other tables started talking to us saying it was ridiculous and they were leaving. I was so excited to show my visitor that we stayed but I kept apologizing. We ended up ordering from the screen but that's not the appeal of "revolving sushi". We asked a server what was up and they said they were understaffed. I can empathize with the staff who were there, but I'm not sure there was more than one as nothing was coming from the kitchen except slow-moving screen orders. Management has screwed up. Not sure I'll be back again, and I was a happy frequent customer. Disappointing experience.

I wasted $40 here. I never write reviews but just really upset about my experience here. Ordered a ramen and it came out cold and flavorless. We politely asked someone if we could send it back since it was literally cold the moment it came out and she said “yeah one sec” but she never came back. I thought she forgot so I pressed the recall button 10 minutes later and she still never came so ultimately we gave up. The sushi was so bad, they call it “salmon roll” but the salmon on it was like the size of a fingernail, I wouldn’t even call that salmon, it was the worst I’ve ever had. The only good thing about this experience was the hostess, don’t know her name but she wore glasses. She was super nice and pleasant. Overall so disappointed and sad with this experience. We ran over and got pizza after this because we didn’t even eat enough.

I don’t eat seafood, yet they had great options for me, including beef udon, a tasty miso soup, and nice dessert options. Very cool process and atmosphere.

First thing's first, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, has FANTASTIC sushi and my personal favorite, sashimi. In addition, one of the managers, Alauna, assisted with my peanut and tree nut allergy, by providing an allergen menu and even personally preparing my food, providing me serious peace of mind! Highly recommend this place!

Dietary restrictions: I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and they assisted with it with incredible customer service!

Highly recommend this place! My fiance has a peanut and tree nut allergy. Alauna went above and beyond to make sure my fiance had special made sushi so he felt comfortable eating. This means way more then you would think so that we could enjoy our experience. I can not thank Alauna enough! (:

Very fun experience! The robots bring your drinks, your food is ordered on a screen and the rotating sushi options are cool.

Not the best sushi in town but a great experience!

I was excited to take my daughter as I had just been at a revolving sushi place in LA (mom and pop place): Staff was welcoming and explained how it worked. It is fun to see the dishes come around and the robot / menu is easy to use. My chief complaint is we were there on a Saturday evening, early, and still they were out of several types sashimi - at least 5 or 6 - and those couldn’t be ordered. And then the revolving thing often has empty dishes, which left me less than impressed. I guess I could understand if it was a Sunday evening or Monday after a busy weekend but this was 6pm on a Saturday. We also tried tempura chicken and shrimp, which was quite salty. And it wasn’t cheap. Not sure I’d try again.
