Best cappuccinos are made here! Staff wasn’t friendly but it was a busy time of day when we visited. The one downtown had great breakfast sandwiches. I didn’t loook for food at this location that day.

Got a vanilla latte with oat milk, which was amazing. The right amount of sweetness and perfect balance of milk to espresso ratio.
This place has the best coffee, and the bakery next door is pretty good too.

I got an iced caramel latte and it tastes like sweet iced milk. Big disappointment. I like the beans from there and make my own at home and it’s great but in person I was let down.

Always the best.
Greatest cold brew, drip, and espresso in the city. Can’t beat it.
Baristas are great. Always enjoy chatting with them.
The line goes fast. Worth the wait!

For those seeking an authentic Italian espresso experience in Pittsburgh, particularly at the Strip District location, La Prima excels.
Expect top-tier cappuccinos, expertly crafted lattes, and a charming community vibe. If your preference leans toward pour-overs or drip-style coffee, exploring other roasters alongside might offer a fuller spectrum of local flavours.
Good basic coffee place. We got the cappuccino. I appreciate they serve the coffee in glass cups instead of plastic/paper cups.

Got a coffee and sat outside with a group of 4 at two small tables that were already set up with chairs around it. The owner (?) was extremely rude and came over and told us to pick up our items and let us know he was taking one of our tables and that four people don’t need two tables. We would have been happy to accommodate if asked, but he was extremely rude and disrespectful off the bat demanding we pick up our stuff. Won’t be back. Do better to treat customers with basic respect.

I’m a lifelong coffee and espresso drinker and can unequivocally say that this is the best latte I’ve ever had.
