Great atmosphere and EXCELLENT cold brew - that's all I had, but I went here three times during my recent trip to Pittsburgh. It's that good!

Outstanding Espresso and great service. It was so good I went back a 2nd time a few hours later. Less than 5 minute walk from the Senator John Heinz History Museum.

I was visiting Pittsburg for a week on a business trip and stayed a couple blocks down from La Prima Coffee. I walked there every morning and always got a couple shots of espresso and a small cup of the day to sip on throughout my day. Their espresso is smooth, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Their coffee is on point too and was great to have when I couldnโ€™t make there in the afternoons. I ended up buying a couple of their whole bean espresso bags to take back home with me to use for my home espresso bar. 10/10 Definitely recommend!

It's a cool shop. I will agree with someone else, the croissants/food could be better. They lack there and thats why the 4 stars. First impression walking in, looked clean, chill, plenty seating. Service was fine but lacking a welcoming vibe. Unlike Starbucks across the street. Comparing the 2, I had a better welcome at Starbucks and they were by far busier each time I went there too bc of several conventions at the hotel. Overall experience was fine at this La Prima location. Nothing to write home about. Cool to visit. I do also like that it is right down the street from the Heinz museum. So grab a coffee on your way there.

Wonderful coffee and absolutely kind staff. The coffee woke me up gently, and the staff so sweetly gave me more room in my cup once they heard I had to run somewhere immediately after. They listened and thought to help me not spill ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Delicious lattes and scones! Probably one of the better scones I've had in a long time-- buttery and fresh. The special coffees are amazing as well (just got the orange chocolate with clove which was a unique and pleasant taste). Staff is incredibly helpful as well in selection choices. Highly recommend!

Great location if youโ€™re at convention and want a quick, good coffee thatโ€™s a little more local!

The latte was great, with a small but very good list of syrups and options. It is definitely a little pricier, but quality is there.

The chocolate croissant was okay, a little hard but overall not bad. They didnโ€™t have a lot of food options, but for their drinks, itโ€™s pretty worth it!
