It’s all about the tacos and quesadillas
Awesome stuff and great selection of self serve serve toppings
The chorizo quesadilla for excellent at a pretty good price.
Good tacos but I’m pretty sure they just make up prices on grocery items based on who walks in. “Receipt” doesn’t list individualized items and the items were eyebrow raising expensive.
Best street tacos you’re gonna find I’ve tried a few places here in Oakland every las palmas I’ve been to has made exquisite food and it’s highly convenient at a great price. If you’re a fan of tacos, I suggest checking them out. You get to put your own fixings on too.
Quesadilla is amazing
The tacos are great. The store itself is not great. It smelled and the fresh items were spoiling
The steak & onion tacos with a Grapefruit Jarrito... ??
The workers are very arrogant, very bad at serving people, they seem to not pay them
First service ✔️ quality
Excellent place to find Hispanic foods and items, there is almost everything.

Best mexican food anywhere
If you eat here, you will enjoy tacos better than the one in this picture..
The meat they sold me was RANCID and smelled like rotting fish!!!! I should have known the second we walked into the store it smelled like dead fish in the produce/meat section. The meat next to ours that we picked out was grey and slimey…. We had to hold our breath and even the vegetables were moldy. Do not eat anything from here.
It was good , I can find some food here , and usually my country have it too . Nice to coming to here
Far from the cleanest, but still a local gem. Prices are unreliable; I’ve paid $9 for a cabbage one day and $3 for it another. Many items are unlabeled, but if you ask for prices, the total will often not be the sum of the items you gave them (last time I was there, my $5 crema and $4 of corn totaled almost $13). The deli section also smells rancid most days of the week. However, with all of this being said, it’s the only grocery store in central or south Oakland open past, like, 4pm. Without it, we would be a food desert. I think this is why the city obviously turns a blind eye to their numerous health code violations. Also, their tacos are awesome.
