Don't order from Cuddy's unless you want to wait. Everyone else had ordered from the other places and were done eating before mine was ready. The collards had small shards of turkey bones in it, so heads up.

It’s full of art with a neat bar but the friend shrimp from the soul food restaurant looks like frozen shrimp you can buy a large bag full of like 30 for $7 here you get 6 for $13. Over prized gentrified place lol

It's fine place, I was confused on the corn dogs, I was too high. I ended up with a giant cheese stick on a stick. It was still delicious. Not mad, my bad. Will be back.

I suspect this place is owned by people who have never worked in a restaurant. The biggest problem is the ordering system: guests seat themselves and order food and drinks using a QR code to access a website. Employees then (theoretically) bring orders when ready.

Most of our meals took a ridiculously long time to arrive and were cold when we got them. The drinks weren't any faster. At one point a friend went down to check in at the bar to see if our drinks were actually being made - there were about twelve orders on the bar waiting to be delivered. We were given a beer we didn't order, and had to bug the food runner about drinks that were missing.

The system also only allows tipping before the food is served, which is probably for the best. These problems aren't the servers' fault, and they wouldn't make much if the tips reflected the dining experience.

People have already figured out how to run food halls and this mildly dystopian ordering system is not an improvement. This felt like a very low-stakes episode of black mirror. No one knew what was going on, and there was no way to figure it out.

Buzzers aren't sexy, but they work.

Looks can be deceiving. Wow, what a terrible experience. The food we ordered looked delicious but it was disgusting.

First off, atmosphere is horrendous. Dirty tables and unstocked bus stations. No glassware available for water. The bar was crowded and spilling into the table seating. Very unpleasant.

The food was so disappointing.
We tried a number of items from Toma. And something from Loaded. I will go through them one by one.

1. Loaded's Kids Grilled Cheese and fries. -Didn't look appetizing at all but my kid tolerated it.

Everything else is from Toma.
2. Tuscan Panzanella Salad -Literally a bowl of croutons flooded with oil and salt. Couldn't finish it.

3. Sicilian Slice of Vodka Pizza -Inedible. Cold and undercooked. Gross. I'll probably be sick for trying a forkfull.

4. Slice of Caprese Pizza- unappetizing, cold and soggy.

5. Meatballs -Just okay. Bland and lacking flavor. Not hot enough.

6. Artichoke and Sun Dried Tomato Dip - Soupy mess. Just not good. Way too salty. The pieces of bread for dipping were overwhelmingly salty.

We left a table of uneaten food (about $100 worth).
Now I'm going to Chick-fil-A for dinner at 9:30pm
I will NEVER go to Lawrence Hall again.

The soul Food Joint here is a big winner. My in-laws loved the Italian.

The place was highly recommended. Turned out to be very mediocre. Very weird Mexican food. Not authentic. Cool arcade section upstairs tho.

Mixed bag. Tl;dr: if you’re ordering drinks through the QR code at a table and not the bar, I recommend withholding your tip until the drink arrives because there’s 50% chance it won’t arrive or it’ll arrive only when the head is gone (for beer).

La Palapa and Leona’s are legit (try the birria tacos). 5 stars for those two. Other food places not worth trying.

Bar has good beer selection and cocktails are legit. but if you sit at a table and order from QR code, you can’t rely on your drink to arrive. One night I had to go down and ask where our drinks were after 15 mins—staff did not even notice the order. Then no one offered to carry our drinks upstairs, so I had to make two trips to carry three very full glasses upstairs myself, and spilt some of the drinks of course. But with the online order system you prepay tip so you have to go ask the manager to remove the tip if, as I did, you don’t receive any actual service and lose some drink in the process. I wouldn’t complain about this if it was one time, but it happened again. I ordered a beer from a table and it sat on the bar for 15 mins until I texted the helpline about it and then they brought it to me with no head. And in the same session, my companion had to go down to get her cocktail that I’d ordered online

Great place to go for food and drinks. I went to Cuddy's and my experience was good. I had the chicken and waffles. The service was fast and the atmosphere was great. I will go back to experience all the food spots.
