My family and I have been going to Le Cupcake Shoppe for many years. We live out of town and it is the place we look forward to the most when visiting Pittsburgh. Their mini cupcakes are scrumptious - so many delicious flavors! Their cakes are a work of art. Wish we lived closer - so if you do - give them a try soon!

I was apart of a wedding party that used Le Cupcake Shoppe for a bridal shower. It was my first time using them, but after seeing their instagram I was excited to see results.
Overall I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of our cake. The colors were not what was requested, the flowers weren’t bloomed and very strange, then there were things I can only describe as sprouts all over the cake. The cake itself was not what we had asked for.
It was discussed that it wasn’t what was requested but the “decorator was out of town” so there was nothing they could do, so we paid for the cake because we needed it. Proceeded to take all the flowers and “sprouts” off and try to make do with what we had.
The cake did taste good, and was baked well, but wouldn’t use this establishment again due to being so disappointed with the look of the decoration for a bridal shower.

I originally was not going to review, but after reading the correspondence again between the owner of this business and myself, I feel the need to warn others about using her business. I reached out to Le Cupcake Shoppe on Instagram bc I live right around the corner and was wanting to order a cake for my daughter. I went to the website and it stated custom order cakes start at $36. The owner was so incredibly condescending to me when I inquired about pricing, I was beyond taken aback. I am an ardent supporter of small businesses, but after how rudely I was treated with no genuine apology or remorse, I could not recommend this business less. The back and forth was extensive, and she continued to double down and be completely unprofessional. I was shocked at her unwillingness to apologize for being rude or take accountability. She continually made assumptions and was aggressively rude. There are so many great cake shops in the area who are kinder- Party Cake Shop and Potomac Bakery to name a few. When I shared my negative experience, a ton of others commented! Sharing what they sent me as well.
