Stellar service, excellent food and a table with a terrific view of the city. Everything I could have asked for, and more. We went to celebrate my dates birthday and the Le Mont made it an extra special event. Our waiter Sisco was terrific and attended us very well. They provided a slice of birthday cake and a gift that were both appreciated. The Le Mont helped to create a lasting memory of a special occasion.
Aside from a talented singer whose volume was louder than a rock concert everything was excellent.
We went on Sunday afternoon to celebrate my birthday. The service was impeccable. Food amazing. Perfect view of Pittsburgh. Couldn't have asked for anything more . Highly recommend the lambchops! Delish!
A business acquaintance told us we should try it since we were only in town for one day. We went to dinner Friday night at La Mond on Grandview ave. on Mt. Washington, and it was all it was billed out to be and more. Valet parking on a street that looked it was out of Goodfellas, a maître d who could also have been in the cast of characters. I had asked for a table along the glass to get the view of the river (which is out of this world) when we reserved, and that's exactly where they put us. I ordered a Johnnie Black on the rocks and got a scotch glass filled to within a quarter inch of the top, and it was indeed Johnnie Black (too often restaurants sub). My wife and daughter (whom we do not see too often) ordered glasses of wine and we had a very enjoyable time talking about kids and family, living and deceased. Ate some delicious breads while we drank, and made a toast to departed loved ones who left us too soon and wishing health to our living loved ones and put an order in for our appetizers. My daughter ordered a flat bread pizza with lobster which was excellent, crispy, smooth and cheesy with the taste of the lobster on top. For Dinner my daughter and I ordered the Filet Oscar, an 8oz filet with crab, asparagus and bearnaise and my wife ordered the chicken Tuscany. Our waitress besides being very pleasant was very attentive filling waters many times and asking about our drinks, and could she get us anything. All of our meals were delicious! We ordered some decaf coffee and some crem brulee and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and of course it was all fantastic,. ;Great meal, great people great enviroment, three home runs I also want to mention the entertainment, he was a gentleman who appeared to be late forties, at first I thought it was piped music but then when he did Sinatra and Martin i looked and saw it was live. He was the Bomb! we all couldn't believe how good he was! after singing rat pack songs he went on to singing great music from the 80's!
I have eaten at LeMont in the past when visiting Pittsburgh and it was absolutely fantastic 15 years ago... Absolutely nothing has changed except for prices and that's normal... the service, the food, the views are unmatched... I took a couple of my friends there that I've never been to Pittsburgh and they were totally blown away..... can't wait to get back to Pittsburgh to enjoy another meal here...
Beautiful restaurant with a lot of class. Lots of people acknowledging my mom's bday throughout which was nice. Food and service were good but not as good as some of the other Mt. Washington establishments. However everyone had a nice time and can't beat the view!
If you want attention to detail, LeMont is for you. From the ease of making reservations to the delicious desserts, this place is my number one go-to place. Not only for special occasions, but also a night to have a relaxing meal while looking at the panoramic view of the twinkling city.
The meal was mediocre at best, the baked brie appetizer was not baked ice cold, ordered crab legs they were barley warm. The mashed potatoes had nonglavor and was a giant chunkmof a whole potatoe, veggies again bland bland bland. The restaurant is beautiful and the viewof the city amazing. But the food was not worth $200.00
Excellent dining - Excellent staff - Excellent cuisine - 5 stars !

Le Mont Restaurant has a beautiful view of Pittsburgh. I was here for an event, so it was a set menu for dinner. The food was very good. I had the filet mignon and wagyu. The drinks were great and had a good variety. The service was excellent.

Memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. The website and menu go on and on about how seriously the chef takes food allergies, etc., so we expected the wait staff to be able to answer questions about gluten in food. Ordered the miso glazed seabass after being told that it was safe to eat. When dinner came, my plate was a plain piece of fish; apparently the glaze wasn't gluten free, after all. But rather than tell me before serving, I was presented a plain. piece. of. fish. Not even the sesame seeds or onion described in the menu. The risotto was crunchy. The Caesar salad was mostly Parmesan cheese. There was a live singer, who was louder than should have ever been in a dining room, leading us to shout to hear each other at the table. Served a piece of "complimentary" cake for our anniversary, despite ordering and eating dessert prior, in addition to being unable to consume the cake. All in all, just an unbelievably disappointing experience, and enormous waste of money.
I chose LeMont for my birthday dinner and they truly went all out to make the night special. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly, good selection of bourbon, the decor inside is something special. Havent been to a resturant with this type of old school service in a long time. Chad took care of us for the night with stellar service.

Service was excellent, food was perfect and atmosphere was deluxe. A great dining experience.
My husband and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary and had an unforgettable evening. Brian our waiter was very attentive and Tony the matiere d made sure at all times that we had everything that we needed. The food was outstanding from start to finish. A special touch at the end was a beautiful cake, gift card and a framed picture of us on our special day. Thank you to all for an incredible evening.
