Here is an honest review of the food:
The best jerk chicken in the east coast, easily surpasses all the best places in New York and Florida. This place is a true gem.
Not certain why people in the reviews keep going on about the service as if this is meant to be a 5-star restaurant. Despite this, I had pretty good service when I went there in-person.

Can’t get in contact with the restaurant u ordered over $300 of food for staff’s lunch. They did not prepare more than 3 peoples orders. I had to go to the restaurant and they just told me to get a refund from DoorDash

This location is closed. But was fantastic while open
Plainly put, they’re good when they feel like it. The customer service 80% of the time is just bad. If the woman manager isn’t there, they’re going to bs and act as if you’re bothering them. Service was 10000xs better at the hopewell location, I used make that drive from the city to Hopwell just to have the better experience. Countless times at the Allentown location, we’ve had a problem. Twice we’ve actually called and spoke to the manager about how the front of the house was acting. This past weekend, we ordered, we got there at 5pm and they told us they didn’t have time to make any of the dinners that included shrimp. Don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean when it was hours before they closed and they made a snapper for someone that came with us. So we had to switch our orders. I asked for the pepper steak and got probably a 1/2 portion of steak and a lot of rice, others in the party got more steak as if they ordered extra, and paid the same price. I will make 1 thing very clear. I have NEVER had an issue with their quality of food they put out. The food is delicious and the price is perfect. Which is why I’ve given them 3 stars. Is the food worth dealing with the service? That’s on you to figure out. Personally I’m going to have to take a break and hope they eventually improve.

When we walked in a man was sitting there sipping on soup I guess he didn't get up to greet us so we stood there he finally asked what we wanted I got the oxtails just a taste and he got the pepper steak main menu and once we got home the oxtails were small the cabbage was bland no seasoning at all I tasted his pepper steak the peppers weren't cooked with the steak the steak still had fat on them and they weren't seasoned that good his rice and peas were tasteless they had no flavor to me for the prices you would think that it would taste better my oxtails were kind of salty the pepper steak was $20 and my oxtails was 16.99 and the total came to $39 I guess I'll stick to fireside until I find somewhere else because this was very disappointing I've never had them and I kept saying that I wanted to try them and I was let down I won't go back

Lunch portion of curry chicken for $12 the 3 little pieces of chicken is not enough to fill a toddler. For a lunch meal I’m sure we could spare a chicken leg atleast for a full portion. I felt robbed during this experience I waited 45 mins after the store opened to be served. I am just not feeling good about this meal at all. Maybe try Salem market instead they have a fuller portion for cheaper price.

Terrible service with the delivery drivers, they act distracted so they don't serve you, I had to reject the order since these gentlemen never gave me a reason and/or help regarding the order that was already prepared.

I am a Jamaican chef passing thru and stopped here with my wife. Food taste good but not authentic oxtail tails rice and peas and cabbage $27 and wasn’t worth it mostly bones. Guy was very rude and not very welcoming which made my wife want to leave. Hope I caught this guy on an off day!!

Customer service is everything and clearly the young guy in the front hasn’t been trained. No eye contact, no professionalism at all. Ring up my order and just looked at me for payment. Absolutely not!! However the food is okay nothing to tell your friends about because to sell a customer a dried out hard beef pie is crazy.
