On November 12th I was one of a party of 12 who enjoyed one of the most delicious and enjoyable dinners ever, at Lilith. We ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks. Food was cooked perfectly and served graciously. The small venue is absolutely charming and warm; don't let the small neighborhood fool you- this is worth seeking out. I wish I had taken photos, but those already posted reflect the lovely dishes we all ordered. The staff members, to a person, were gracious, thoughtful, and timely in their interactions with us. It was a highlight of our trip to Pittsburgh. Enjoy!

Lilith is a cozy upscale eatery, with intimate dining accomodations but still manages to feel personal. We arrived and we're immediately seated for our reservation at 7. The wait staff, are all highly professional and take there role very seriously which I appreciate. The food was top notch and the local farms across PA that they source their ingredients from are even listed on the menu! I had the beef filet, cooked perfectly medium and my wife had the autumn squash raviolis with mushrooms, both were phenomenal. We're really looking forward to eating at Lilith again.

Every aspect of Lilith was amazing from the service to the food!
When I got there at 8:00 the restaurant was packed but they were still able to seat me in 15 minutes and for as busy as they were chef Borges still found time to walk around and check on all of the guest.
I'm looking forward to returning on my next trip to Pittsburgh!

Had a girls night at Lilith and it was one of the best nights ever. Sure the conversation was great, but from the focaccia, to the small plates, to the larger plates and the TO DIE FOR Desserts OMG. I can't wait to visit again. If you are lucky to be there when they have the pistachio cake, heirloom tomato salad and lobster rolls, do not hesitate. Just say yes to it all.

Lilith isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Every plate feels intentional, beautifully balanced, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere strikes that perfect note between relaxed and special, making you want to linger a little longer. Service is warm without being overbearing, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. From the first bite to the last sip, everything felt thoughtful and memorable. This is the kind of spot you recommend to friends when you want to wow them — Lilith delivers every time

It makes me happy to see the old Cafe Zihno reborn, and reinvented. It was a neighborhood treasure for Shadyside, and these ladies are killing it.
I used to see Tony Pais pretty much every Saturday evening, having a glass of wine with the chefs as they cleaned the kitchen at Laforet. And, I used to work for Jamilka. So, it makes me happy to see this place thriving.
Cocktails were good, food was exceptional. Atmosphere is cute, and cozy. It's a little tight, but it's a small place. I did not feel like we were too close to other tables at all.
Back to the food- everything was very tasty, but the ceviche was absolutely outstanding. Scallops and oysters were great, and the halibut was amazing.
I wish I had room for dessert, but we were stuffed. We plan to stop back for just dessert sometime soon. So, don't be afraid of leaving here still hungry, the portions are right sized.
This is at once a place for special occasions, and also a cozy little neighborhood restaurant. That's a tricky balance to achieve. It was a memorable evening for certain.

Finally got to visit this cutie restaurant today. It’s definitely now one of my favorites in Pittsburgh. I’ve never had scallops THAT good before. Also, the staff were super kind and helpful. Definitely will be coming back.

One of the most glorious dining experiences of my time living in Pittsburgh. Every aspect was attended to, in ways that I didn't expect or require. How they anticipated EVERY single facet of our visit is a testament to their attention to detail, precision and ultimate quality. We had numerous courses, each one as stellar as the next. The quaint exterior calms you, walk inside; warmly greeted by a competent staff, willingly engaged in the overall experience. Enough with my flowery expose. Go. Expect to be encouraged to have a glamorous and worldly time by the gentle staff. They know what they're doing, let them guide on your sublime culinary journey while you're here. Sit back and be enthralled.

The Lilith ladies are awesome — these chefs are creating masterful dishes with a variety of tastes, both complex and comforting. Some highlights for me were the Fancy Lobster Rolls, Japanese Sweet Potato, and Baked Alaska. Make a reservation, you won't regret it!

Been to many restaurants in Pittsburgh and this one blows everything else out of the water. From the outside, this place is very unassuming, but once you enter, you’re immediately welcomed by a cozy, friendly atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming and the interior decor consists of thoughtful touches and a unique design. It is small but very intimate and sweet. The food is incredible (from the focaccia to the oysters to the Japanese sweet potato, lobster rolls) and the beef filet is perfectly cooked. We loved our passion fruit cocktails. The pistachio cake was divine. This place deserves high praise and I can’t wait to come back and try their other menu items!
