Dope spot, a ton of Filipino influence on drinks and food. Service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend!

Good cortado, nice breakfast. Cinnamon bun was different, tasty but purple cake like frosting. Popular on weekends. Friendly staff.

Was initially super excited to see a filipino-fusion brunch place but our experience left us very underwhelmed. Service left much to be desired, with long waits between table visits and us having to grab our own glasses after many mentions of them. Despite the restaurant being open for several more hours after we arrived, many menu items were sold out. Usually, this wouldnāt be a bother but considering limited menu options it was quite disappointing that we werenāt made aware that such things were out until we tried to order them. Also, I found it strange that some of the things that were out were very easy to make substitutions for but nothing of the sort was offered to us (tbh how hard is it even to whip up a new batch of pancake batterā¦) Furthermore, certain dishes such as the adobe fried rice and spam nāat felt like glorified asian struggle meals, the spam dish in particular was literally eggs rice and spam with no added flavor or accouterments and outrageously priced at 15 dollars⦠like are you making the spam yourself back there or what??? Matcha latte also tasted like water. As asian visitors, we felt like this place hid under their cute aesthetics and vibes while food and service were severely lacking, definitely a horrible representation of filipino flavors and culture.

Friendly service. Adobo fried rice and home fries are fire. Diverse variety of donuts and fresh drinks. Atmosphere on point
People should know that they SECRETLY ADD AN 18% āTIPā FOR PICKUP ORDERS AFTER YOUāVE ALREADY HIT PAY for orders over $45 (after taking you to a tip page asking for voluntary tips!) and there is no way to cancel the payment at that point. I actually like their food and used to frequent but this may be the sleaziest thing Iāve ever experienced from a restaurant.
Always delicious! The best latte Iāve had in Pittsburgh. Donāt forget to order an ube cinnamon roll before they run out!

Food was good, you need to wait to be seated unless you are getting takeout, you have to go to the back so it's a little confusing, but the staff is great, food and drinks were delicious!!

Stumbled upon this cute though rather obscurely located place and had a great breakfast. I work in the area and hope to b a regular.

Decided on the last minute to catch a couple of ballgames in different cities other than NYC with my husband and daughter. Didnāt plan too much but my daughter loves checking out local coffee shops when we travel and she discovered this gem of a place. Such a cool, eclectic vibe when you walk in. The food was so tasty! The menu had a Filipino spin to it. Even though the dishes were familiar brunch items, everything had a little delicious twist. Wish we lived closer!!! And the service was great! So welcoming and friendly. Iām still thinking about the Giant Ube Cinna Roll and iced coconut padan latte!

Ahhh⦠Lola Eatery. Magnificent. Everything was, how you say, simplistically delicious. We begin with the breakfast sandwich, Calabrian chili English muffin, definitely house made. Something so simple, yet so unforgettable. Like a little kiss from the gods.
Then, the ube mochi waffles with ube butter, only on Fridays. Exclusivity! You must plan your life around this. And me? I also had the pandan latte. Smooth, fragrant, like drinking a cloud wearing perfume.
Everything⦠so well executed. Precise. Elegant. Memorable. Bravo, Lola. Bravo.

I have been looking forward to trying this spot as I just moved to the area. When I walked in on a Saturday (just me) I was greeted by a bartender but then stood and waited to be sat (as per the sign) until I had to eventually flag someone down and ask to be sat.
Looking at the menu, all of the more interesting choices of food were listed under āweekday specialsā. Everything on the weekend is very basic. REALLY missing the mark here. For a brunch place, the weekend is it! Why not offer your best dishes then?? I also noticed no gluten free options. My family has celiac disease and this place is absolutely not safe - cross contamination and no substitutions.
My coffee was good, the decor is really fun and of course everyone was nice. But I think my search for a brunch spot will continueā¦.
