Here from western NY and booked this restaurant in advance. We were seated in the bar area at a cocktail table for dinner-main aisle with constant traffic and people waiting for take out orders. Expressed our disappointment and were casually told there's no place to move us. It appeared expected we would request to be relocated- as in, this is how Lucca seats regularly. It was a fantastic night out. The food was terrific, and the atmosphere was great for our friend who is hard of hearing and relies on a hearing aid. The service was good enough, though the server was a little snarky; he was busy, and we weren't too demanding.
Lovely restaurant. Great ambience. Our server was excellent, Aliyah L. We recommend seafood risotto, shrimp alfredo with a light alfredo sauce, abs baked rigatoni with sausage. The chicken piccata could have been juicier, and 1 was dry. They did sub tagliatelle noodles for linguini for me. Thanks. Both needed lots more sauce.
