Luciano’s is one of my favorites in Pittsburgh. Their sauce is perfect!
This place used to be the go to pizza joint for me for the past 30 years in the North Hills, but as of late, their service is absolutely horrible, the employees are very rude, and your food is cold constantly whether you pick it up or get it delivered. I don't know what has changed, but over the past 6 months, this location has gone downhill. If you're looking for a good pie in the North Hills, call Belisario's located at the corner of Duncan and Thompson, across from Mascari's. What a shame........ I'm hoping ownership reads some these reviews and gets this location back to great standards of doing business.
The Mediterranean pizza was absolutely awful. No difference between it and slime on a shingle. The toppings and cheese slid right off, making it almost inedible. I heard good things about this place, but our experience is what matters to us. They never should have allowed a pizza to be sold like the one we ordered. No I definitely do not recommend!
My hometown go-to pizza joint. Have been enjoying pizza here for 25 years without disappointment. Thank you for the memories and the timely deliveries.Ps. The white pizza is majestic with pepperoni and olives and the meatball calzone is a full day meal.
I ordered my food and the lady told me is going to be 45 minutes and it been 1 hour and 40 minutes and I did not get my food so I called them and the manager was so rude and did not care about it i will never order again so rude people.
This is a very very busy place- you have to redial often just to get through. The pizza is great- the Italian hoagie not so much. Bologna? Really it was awful & no dressing was included even though I asked twice.
Had white pizza. Delicious. I am usually a pepperoni red sauce guy but this was awesome. Will definitely order this again.
Always enjoyed Lucianos until tonight. My husband ordered a tuna hoagie and I ordered a chicken salad. My salad was good as always, but my husband's hoagie hardly had any tuna on it and it was cold. I luckily had a can of tuna I added to the hoagie and put it in the oven. He called to let them know and was told by a girl on the phone that he could get put on a list for credit and then heard a man telling her no and told him sorry she couldn't help him and hung up on him.
Horrible experience here - called at 6:08 pm and was told it would be 40 minutes for pickup. Arrived at the restaurant at 6:45 and at 7:30 I was still waiting. I went in to find out what was going on and when they had no answers other than "it's busy" I asked for a refund. after they handed me my money back someone came over (a male manager maybe?) and said that there was no way that I was told 40 minutes as they were running at a 2 hour wait. I told him that I understood that they were busy as I also work in food service and he said "I don't think you understand but whatever" he then packed my order right in front of me and arrogantly asked me if I wanted my food or my money back. I took my money and left - not once did anyone apologize that the wait was twice what I was told - I was basically accused of making up a time (who does that?!) and the overall attitude and lack of care was ridiculous. I understand that everyone is doing their best with the pandemic but it was majorly mishandled and no one was willing to take any ownership and apologize. I am all about supporting small businesses during this time but that doesn't make it okay to receive terrible service.
So good - NY style is the absolute best in the area. Wish the one deliver guy didn't wear political stuff all over it's kind of embarrassing (nobody needs a walking billboard delivering food) but the food and staff are great.

I recently order take out from Luciano's. When I got there, the food was not ready. After waited, I finally asked the deal and they basically accused me of making up the expected arrival time and that I was here way too early. The service was just really bad, not care for the customer. We will not order from there again.
On their website, I ordered food for delivery: chicken tenders, onion rings, chicken parmesan, a chicken calzone, and a chef salad. The delivery driver arrived at my house on time, and he was wearing a face mask and made polite conversation. All food was accurately delivered, and it tasted good. Prices ranged from several dollars for a side item to less than twenty dollars for a main entree. I plan to order from this restaurant again to try their pizza.
The first delivery was on time but they brought 2 traditional pizzas instead of one white and one pepperoni. We called immediately and told them. We were told don’t touch the pizza that was wrong and it would take 7 minutes to make the white pizza and they’d run it over. (We are 5 minutes away). An hour and 15 minutes later, we’re still waiting. No one offered a refund or an apology.
I only gave them 1 star because I had to in order to write a review. I live a good bit away but always liked the food. I arrived at the store, they gave part of my order to the delivery person and on top of that the manager screamed at me because he had been so busy. The so called manager stated he didn't even know how to take the missing food off of my check. Worst customer service I ever encountered in my life. Must be why they cannot keep the same employees for more than a week!!
Ordered 2 pizzas and will never go back. The crust and the pizza was very greasy. The cheese tasted like fake cheese. Employees did not wash hands between touching cash and directly touching food. Would not recommend this place, there are plenty of other "pizza shops" in the sea.
