Luma at Mount Lebanon
No music or ambience, servers does not involve herself with the guests, I can hear the buzzing of the a/c constantly, my water has floaties in it.
Servers are grunting while they walk, not interested in anything but getting you out, no upselling, no knowledge of the dishes they present.
Jumbo lump crab cake appetizer
The jumbo lumps are all broken up, the plating needs a lot of work, seems like an amateur drizzled my plate, crab is mid, too much mayo, the aioli makes does t compliment or brings any kind of balance to the dish.
Buffalo fried cauliflower
No crunchiness or crispiness at all, very soft texture, overcooked, harsh reality but the one at Get Go is better than this.
Bacon Brussels sprouts
Either old or very low quality goat cheese, Flavor on it, is not there, texture is sandy instead of being creamy and fluffy,
honey-balsamic doesn’t add almost anything to it, it’s too loose too, like they literally grabbed honey and balsamic and mixed it together instead of putting some effort behind it. Brussels sprouts not crispy, the flavors you’re going for are good just very bad execution.
Ahi tuna
Never been to a restaurant that was bold enough to not season their asparagus and their mashed, which btw is the weirdest pairing for tuna and wasabi, like, tha F.
This is cooking laziness to its full potential.
Cannot taste the pistachios at all, the wasabi is way too overpowering, it honestly tastes store bought instead of using a nice wasabi powder. The tuna sear is excellent and that’s the only one thing I can say was good about this plate. Honestly the parts that are not completely drenching the tuna with wasabi are tasty, good umami flavor and can actually taste the pistachios which I think is a great pairing, scratch that, the part I ate after removing 20 oz of wasabi from it was perfect, great concept and idea, bad execution.
The only drink I had was a maple old fashion which was excellent, amazing, so good I stayed after dinner to have another one.
Overall 5.8 out of 10
Great idea, great menu build up, looks of the restaurant are great, just very poor execution on their dishes not just presenting but flavor wise too. None of the servers seem interested in making sure you feel welcome, they just ignore you unless you need something.
I’m new to the area and this was my first time at this restaurant, while researching this restaurant I saw great reviews and great pictures of the food I ordered tonight, all of the looked delightful.
Today, I’m not sure if it was a day off, the chef is not in the building, or they changed chefs, or if the chef just decided to not give an absolute f anymore, but this restaurant really disappointed me.
If it is the same chef, please relight your inner fire, get some good food out, and plate like you’re putting your whole life into this one plate, I know as Chefs we can get lazy at times, but not this lazy, you have to be more consistent and actually care.

Food and service were excellent, however I do have to take off 2 stars as we left the restaurants on a rather low note. We had a party of 6. At exactly 8:30 on the dot we were asked to leave the restaurant as they needed our table (our reservation was at 7). The inside of the restaurant was nearly empty and there were open tables in the front of the restaurant outside . Not to mention, the party of 6 next to us were there before we got there and were not asked to leave. After ordering several appetizers, entrees, and drinks and leaving a generous tip I felt we could have been treated a little kinder. I understand you want to serve as many people as possible, however we were taken aback when we were rushed out of the restaurant and had to rush to finish our drinks, and the other table was not asked to leave either. I’d like to add that it does not say anywhere on your website that you are limited to an hour and a half to dine, so perhaps adding that disclaimer could be beneficial. Also, considering 75 percent of the restaurant was empty, we could have been offered to move to another table to finish our drinks. Our parents were visiting from out of town and we were looking forward to showing them an enjoyable time. This would have been a 5 star review had we not left the restaurant in such a negative manner.
First time visitors and we'll be back for sure. Wonderful dinners, drinks and deserts. The ambience on the back patio was ideal but the experience would not have been the same without our waiter Alec who made the evening perfect. This is a must-do restaurant.

We had a gift card to Luma. I have to say we had never dined there so we were not sure what to expect. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the owner and her daughter Peyton who is the hostess. Peyton seated us at a wonderful table and were immediately impressed by the ambiance. It's so comfortable and welcoming. Our server, Lidia was very knowledgeable and helped us with our selections. She was very attentive, checking back with us often to make sure all our needs were met. Our meal started with some warm crusty bread and dipping oil, followed by a most delicious wedge salad . I have to say that my go to is almost always a Filet and I have dined on many filets around the city . This was by far the best melt in your mouth filet that I have ever eaten. It was made with a demi glaze, and accompanied with fresh mashed potatoes and asparagus. My husband had the special which was red snapper with fingerling potatoes and snow peas. The portions are very generous and very satisfying. We will certainly be back. What a great experience. Thank you

Wonderful place, however the corkage fee for wine is a bit pricy on top of the bottle cost. I opted for cocktails instead. Absolutely incredible food. Great

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here during Restaurant Week. The menu was extensive & showed off the seafood offerings. I chose salmon & hubby had shrimp. Dessert was delectable- don’t skip the cheesecake! Phenomenal. The service was outstanding. Our server, Ian was attentive, helpful, personable & professional. Definitely a great place to dine week nights or special occasions!

Came for restaurant week and Luma did not disappoint! Great service and even got us in without a reservation, despite it being busy. We loved the wine and cocktail selection, as well as the food. We sat at the bar and never had an empty glass, thanks to the bartender, Sadie. My only disappointment is not coming here sooner ?
