Wonderful place, however the corkage fee for wine is a bit pricy on top of the bottle cost. I opted for cocktails instead. Absolutely incredible food. Great

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here during Restaurant Week. The menu was extensive & showed off the seafood offerings. I chose salmon & hubby had shrimp. Dessert was delectable- don’t skip the cheesecake! Phenomenal. The service was outstanding. Our server, Ian was attentive, helpful, personable & professional. Definitely a great place to dine week nights or special occasions!

Came for restaurant week and Luma did not disappoint! Great service and even got us in without a reservation, despite it being busy. We loved the wine and cocktail selection, as well as the food. We sat at the bar and never had an empty glass, thanks to the bartender, Sadie. My only disappointment is not coming here sooner ?

3.5 stars more like it.We had dinner on a Friday around 6pm and the place was empty but by the time we left it was full. There is outdoor parking that isn't very big and I'm not sure it fits enough cars for when the restaurant is busy but we went early and didn't have problems. The entrance is small with a greeting desk and a small bar on the left. There are indoor tables and an enclosed patio with heaters in winter. The interior is cool and elegant and every surface (bathroom too) was squeaky clean and shiny. The service was outstanding, our server was fast, friendly, and professional. The runner auctioned out food instead of knowing the order and the server had to correct him but maybe he was new and learning.Unfortunately, the food was ok for the price. I really wanted to like this place. Without going into details, the menu has a lot of potential but the execution of most of the dishes was lacking. Many of the dishes were pretty dry. The presentation of all the dishes we ordered was not that of a restaurant with those prices.Honestly it felt just like I was eating a dish made someone who cooks well. I was moderately happy with it but, again, the price tags can't be ignored. The desserts were delicious! They don't have much choice of cocktails and I was surprised they didn't even have one cocktail with gin in it but that's ok, you can always ask what you likw. I got a campari spritz and a maple old fashioned and while they were good they were very light and average. My husband and I love searching spots with great cocktails and comparing to some that I have had at the same price or even cheaper these were not at the same level.Overall it was a nice experience and this place really has a ton of potential and they really need to just improve a couple of things; but, at the moment, the prices are very high and I'm not sure I can justify them.

Went to celebrate our anniversary. They knew about it when I made the reservations and even though we reminded them, they offered nothing, not even a cup cake. The grouper was extra salty for some reason. Not going back next year. Too bad!

A lovely, intimate spot in the South Hills (Mt. Lebo near Castle Shannon) with some outdoor seating as well. Just delicious and the service is great. They are known for their Crab - for good reason! All around - will be back! RESERVATIONS highly suggested since its a smaller joint.

Great service. Walked in and was greeted by the sweetest hostess. Darling girl! Service was great! Food was tasty. Mama and papa had a great date night out. Good place to have a night out. Mightily romantic. The food was delicious! We enjoyed the calamari as an app, both had fish for dinner. So delicious!

Chef Flamm does an amazing job balancing Simplicity & Quality with robust but amazing flavors. My wife & I recently made reservations for Dinner at Luma. Service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. I had the Filet over Penne with Alfredo. My wife enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. Per usual, we had to take something home for lunch the next day, so we ordered Short Rib over Penne to go. For desert we had the Chocolate Saucy (Brownie with Ice Cream and Cream) The Brownie tasted like they literally baked it in the oven made to order. Fantastic. We already had the short rib for lunch today, also amazing, even re-heated. We love the relaxed quant yet elegant atmosphere. The food keeps us coming back. To many restaurants try to overdo their menu items to be different, straying away from quality and simplicity. I would rather have high quality yet simple any day of the week and Chef Flamm at Luma most certainly delivers. We will be back.

Luma is one of the best kept secrets in Mount Lebanon. Their food is consistently good and the service is very friendly. I also really like their wine list. The relaxed atmosphere makes this a very comfortable place to go to and have dinner time and time again.
