Awesome menu selection for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free diners alike! Mandy’s truly does offer more for diners with dietary needs than probably any other pizza place I’ve seen in the Burgh! So hats off to them for that. 🎩
I’ve ordered Mandy’s more times than I can count. I’ve tried nearly every vegan specialty pizza option they provide. I tend to gravitate towards the vegan meat lovers pizza more often than not for my normal order. The crust is a medium to thicker. This is not a thin crust pizza. But the vegan meats they use are quite lovely - albeit a tad on the salty side. The one vegan specialty pizza I don’t care for on their menu is the steak and ranch. I love the concept of it, but the vegan steak is too salty for me to enjoy.
I’ve on rare occasion had the pizza delivered and I’ve never had any issues with their delivery services. Service inside the restaurant has always been a good experience from ordering to picking up. This place can get pretty busy but the team has always handled the pressure with grace, in my opinion. For diners wanting it they do have a small indoor dining area.
I feel grateful to have Mandy’s as an option for pizza north of the city. If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free it’s definitely worth giving Mandy’s a try!

Their menu clearly indicates what is vegan in its own section. The restaurant makes a point of providing both a vegan and gluten-free menu. The food is very good and clearly lot of thought went into it.
Best vegan pizza I've had in Pittsburgh hands down! So many vegan options! The staff is awesome too! Thank you for everything!

I'm in love. Being gluten free sucks. I hate it. But this is hands down one of the best gf places I've found for pizza. Only one small glitch. We didn't get one of the toppings we ordered on our pizza but I will 100% forgive that gaff and go back. A. Lot. I also ordered the chicken nuggets and housed them before we even got home with our food. They were so good (chicken was tender, the crust you never would have suspected was gluten free.) Can't wait to try everything on the gf menu. Thank you!!!

I have eaten here, the thing that bothers me is I've gotten take out and delivery. i live in the vicinity, I drive by quit frequently and the past 4 to 5 times i have seen employees on the side of building also have seen owner smoking drugs. this has not happened 1 time but several times, i also know as a customer there are minor children that work there. The person i see the most is the delivery driver. Real heavy lady outside who delivers the food to me. so it really disturbs me that a delivery driver is using drugs then getting behind the wheel driving food to our houses. Driving under the influence. Also very disturbing that the owner is included in this criminal behavior. To be performing this while minor children are right inside the building. Endangerment. This behavior is not acceptable in our community. Nor should it be being performed or accepted by a resturant owner. I had to share my experience with this business, And it should also be shared with our local law enforcement. This is terrible. Just wanted to share my experience about mandys pizza. I have decided to no longer order from this resturant along with anyonelse reading this review. Thank you for your time. Maybe cyf should be involved along with minor chidrens parent.

Fantastic pizza! My wife is vegan and loves coming here because of their amazing vegan menu. The dishes are so good you’ll find yourself double-checking if they’re really vegan. I usually go for the pepperoni or the Meatza Eatza pizza, both of which pair perfectly with their homemade vegan ranch. The pizzas are on the heavier, doughier side.

Ordered the “Monster” pizza day before. It was ready and hot at the time of pickup the next day. Pizza was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I’ve been celiac eating gluten free for almost six years. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be eating at Mandy’s much anymore. This past year every time I have eaten there I have ended up not feeling great like I had eaten gluten. It’s not the “oh you ate too much bloated”. I’m so bloated I can’t breathe and my stomach is fully extended, I also get nauseous, and I get migraines/brain fog. I’ve tried talking to them the first two times it happened and they just got upset with me because they are dedicated to making sure nothing is cross contacted. Despite how I felt, I’d continue to go back thinking maybe it was a one time accident or a new employee and I really wanted pizza. However, at this point it has happened with the pizza, the fried chicken nuggets, and most recently their wing dings. I was warned by my doctors that since they cook with flour in another kitchen but same building there still can be cross contact with fans, air vents, or even people making mistakes. So with that being said, i won’t be going back, i will miss their food, and as sad as I am writing this review I just didn’t want anyone else to end up sick too!
If you don’t have an allergy I do recommend their regular food, my bf and family always enjoyed that!

Best pizza in the North Hills. Period. The staff is always kind and friendly, but even if they weren't, the pizza is worth it!

My go-to joint for gluten-free hoagies to appease my faulty digestive system. Their gluten free dishes are all absolute bangers.
