Mario's South Side Saloon

Good place to hang with old white men that enjoy music from the 1900s. Friendly and welcoming. As an aside, I am an old white man that enjoys music from the 1900s.

Was a fun and festive atmosphere and our bartender was great but the French dip sandwich I had was advertised a medium rare prime rib and it was a bad deli roast beef. The au jus had no flavor at all. The curly fries were petty good. My favorite part of this place was the mens room downstairs that was something out of a “SAW” movie. Like you have people that work there right? Send someone down the stairs with some cleanser and maybe some steel whole. Maybe a toolbag to fix something? I can’t even imagine owning or managing a place like this and thinking this is acceptable. It’s not. Y’all have got to do better

Went here for the first stop of a Halloween bar crawl with a group of people. Green tea shots were good, but then we all ordered rum + cokes and my friend found glass in her drink.

Just like the other Mario locations in the city, the bar is fairly average. Their green tea shots are pretty dang good though.

This place is a HAS-BEEN. its a dump. Dirty sticky tables, floor filthy the shoes almost pull off your feet. Bathroom...HERENDEOUS. I WOULDN'T GO IN THERE FOR ANYTHING

Great atmosphere, amazing food, I didn't have to wait or fight for the bartenders attention. There are two bars and often multiple bartenders. I did a bar crawl almost a year ago and this has been my favorite bar, hands down, since.

One of the best bars on East Carson Street. Drinks are good prices bartenders are great and security
makes sure things are safe and great!!!!!

It was great, my parents have been talking about Mario's and Blue Lou's my entire life. Mom my always talks about how in '82 they had someone in the window making fresh pasta. I got there about 12am with some friends and stayed till 2, it was fun, shot wheel was great.
