By far best Alfredo ravioli I have had in a long time. Shrimp pomodoro was good, too.

Hidden gem I recently discovered located inside Nordstrom's at Ross Park Mall. Charming cafe/ diner vibes with great menu. Very comfortable environment. Everything was prepared great and tasted delicious. Marketplace is definitely somewhere I will be visiting again. I certainly didn't expect such refined and curated food from a cafe inside a department store, so I was pleasantly surprised.
I had the tomato bisque which was lovely. I shared the tomato and burrata salad which was fresh and divine. I also shared a turkey club sandwich with fries - packed with flavor. Fries came with a kalamata olive aioli for dipping. This was definitely a condiment I wouldn't expect. It was actually really good.
They have a kids menu and French Press Coffee - two additional bonuses.

The waiter left a lot to be desire. He acted in a flippish manner. Maybe he thinks he is funny. Failed to bring my soup when my wife received hers. I mentioned this and said it's too late and i no longer wanted it. Apparently, he was nor really listening to me because he brought a cup of soup anyway and it was not the kind I originally ordered. I was upset but ate it anyway. It was my wife's birthday, and we expected a pleasant evening. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was a birthday occasion. The staff never gave my wife any recognition of the occasion. Our visit was anything but pleasant.
Every experience at Marketplace is worth the time and money. Every one. The staff are welcoming and the food is excellent. If you want a quality meal in a friendly environment, this is your place.
A delightful lunch!! Nordstrom has a scratch kitchen! The pizzas are awesome. The tomato bisque is delicious. The Salade Nicoise is a true value. We scored big because the famous chocolate-dipped macaroons were available for dessert. I love this restaurant!
This is a hidden gem! My wife used to work at Nordstrom restaurants and always talked about how good it is. The burger was excellent and I even heard it was grass fed

Excellent menu, food, service. It's so nice being from Seattle to get a very Seattle centered menu, including wild Alaskan salmon. I'll be back!

Wife and I used to go to the restaurants in the columbus circle flagship store when we lived in NYC. We loved eating there. We came to Nordstrom here at Ross Park and noticed they had a cafe. We immediately decided to have dinner here, and it was a great experience.Great staff, great food. Hidden gem.

I haven't been here since before the pandemic started but it used to be a favorite lunch spot. I finally made it here yesterday and was very pleased to find out nothing had changed (prices went up a little but that's to be expected). Everything was just as I remembered it!
Excellent entrees of wild shrimp and spaghetti in a fresh tomato sauce. Lovely green salad with polenta croutons. Shrimp soup fresh and delicious. Outstanding bread pudding uniquely displayed with fresh raspberries. The Pinot noir from Oregon was excellent. No heartburn.

Food value great. Great service, the staff offer superior help and suggestions on from entree to desserts. Only drawback, now under construction. Hopefully over soon for holiday season!
delicious food great service. The music was a bit noisy. I felt maybe classical music would have been more appropriate for the class of the restaurant and Nordstroms in general!!!!
We found this hidden gem accidentally, but we are glad that we decided to try it. The staff is super nice and the food is great. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and helped make the experience pleasurable. We had the French dip sandwich and a cheeseburger. They were both excellent. The burger was done perfectly which is almost unheard of these days. Everyone gives you well done no matter how you want it. The fries that came with our sandwiches were also ⁴excellent.Overall, it was a great dining experience.
The Marketplace Cafe is a great break from the bustle & crowd of Ross Park Mall. It reminds me of a cafe in a big city. Martha is a great Server, friendly & leaves you alone. The strawberry Sangria was delicious. Thank you!
Lindsay was my server she was very pleasant and helpful. She definitely defines “service with a smile.” Also she made a couple very good recommendations with the ginger peach tea and the chefs special blackened salmon cesar salad. Both were very delicious. She also sold me on a lemon meringue cookie that I had to take home because I was satisfied from my meal. I’d definitely eat at the marketplace cafe again especially if they have more servers like Lindsay!
