It was Ok. If the casino hadn't comped our dinner for 3 ($348 not including tip, no alcohol) I wouldn't have gone. No refills on beverages because we were told that they are an upscale restaurant. Then they brought my diet coke from an 8 once bottle and left it on the table. Real upscale. We had 2 Ribeyes ( $74 a piece) and the linguine with lobster, shrimp and other seafood. ($68)Split an order of calamari for the 3 of us. Waitress said it would be enough for 4. Each of us got about 4 small pieces for $24. We each had the chop salad ($20 each) and it was very good. We had a side of mushrooms ($16) and truffle fries ($14) This is NOT a Morton's or other top of the line steak house, but it's priced like one 😞 I have photos of everything but don't know how to post to this review. I will post in general. I can't give half stars but this is a 3.5

Went there on a Sunday ordered $75 ribeye. Asked for a side of the asparagus that they have on their special menu. They told me the can't do that even know I said I will pay what ever they charger. And it's in the kitchen, The only green they had on the menu wash spinach, who wants spinach with $75 steak. The entire staff was extremely rude and I was the only customer in the restaurant. I know why now.

This place claims to be a high-end steak house but it is far from it. We ordered several meals here that took well over 2 hours in a mostly empty restaurant. The chicken parm was so chewy I had to send it back and the Diablo shrimp pasta desperately needed salt. It lacked really any flavor and wasn’t even spicy. Oh and the shrimp were pretty under cooked, they were almost translucent. The filet was cooked fine but for 75 bucks it wasn’t anything special
Definitely won’t be going back.

We were very disappointed with our experience. There were 5 of us, our dinners came out all at different times. The food was bland, they used the wrong pasta noodle- rotini instead of fusilli. My linguini was not done, I do like Aldente but this wasn’t that. WAY overpriced!!!! The server rattled off the menu on her tablet so fast we couldn’t follow. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to encourage those considering, your money will be spent more wisely somewhere else. The bread was the best part of the meal. Sorry, I realize there are off nights but we won’t be back. I hope you will improve.

Steaks were good macaroni and cheese was completely undercooked. They said their pasta is cooked “al dente” but this was inedible. For a place sporting PRIME in their name it’s definitely underwhelming. Just go to Hyde Park if you’re looking to spend good money

Was kind of terrified to go based on the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Was there on a Saturday, party of 7. Service was great. Drinks were delicious, but inconsistent. First one, excellent and made with love!! Second one slapped together. Hubby had a ribeye that was nicely charred and seasoned, perfectly MR. I had Chilean sea bass with risotto. Both were very good, slightly skimpy on the risotto. We also had a generous portion of mushrooms that were great with the steak and mixed in the risotto. The bread was underwhelming. Overall, a nice night. Would return for a special occasion, which this was tonight. Pricey but good.

We frequent this establishment almost every time we visit the casino. It is one of our favorite places. Last night was not the best night, service was slower than normal and both of our steaks were way overdone. Everyone has an off night once in a while and we will be back!

Overall, it is a beautiful place, well appointed and generally good service. Our only disappointment was that our waiter never once came to check to see how our food was. And I consider this a very high-end steak restaurant, so that aspect was disappointing The food is overwhelmingly large, much to eat. And excellently prepared

Terrible meal. Steak was dry. Pasta was undercooked. Waiter had to explain the pasta texture prior to ordering the meal. Al dente is not undercooked. Wait staff catered more to regulars.

I had been here before. The DJ is always excellent. Last night, I ordered the lobster and shrimp but wanted to substitute the risotto. That was $78. They would take off the risotto without substitution and no money off. I changed to the steak sandwich and truffle fries. The waitress said she couldn't do lettuce and tomato. For a $24 steak sandwich and allocart fries for $16, I can't get leaf f lettuce and a tomato. Martorano, you gotta do better. I won't be dining there anymore. The service was terrible!

My partner said it was the best strip steak he ever had! I had the sea bass with crab and risotto which was melt in your mouth delicious. We shared the meatball and salad appetizer. It's a bit pricey but it was a special night and we really enjoyed our meal. Robert gave us great service.

Our second time in Pittsburgh and our second time at Martorano's. Everything was fabulous. I had rigatoni and meatballs. The meatball melted in my mouth and my husband said his steak was one of the top five steaks he's ever eaten. Highly recommend!

Food was great. Service not the best. Don't like that they bring salad & appetizer at same time. Don't like they brought my husband's steak, then my meal, then the side dish. The staff was just off. Ordered our sodas, got ice & waited minutes for drinks. Ordered dessert to go and had to wait a good while for them to arrive for us to leave. You would think they would be on top of their game to get you back to gambling asap?

Usually our food and service is great ,but not last night . First my husband gingerly had a hair attached to ice cube. Food took an hour r get main course and restaurant was not busy. Gus was one of the team that took care of us. He was on top of things as always. My fish meal had a strong fish smell . The pasta sauce was the best . We will be back hope the kitchen gets quicker service . Thank you

I requested to have my girlfriend sung to for her 21st birthday and that was not done. Even when I called the day before my reservation to make sure that was going to happen. They confirmed that with me too. The ceaser salad was way too strong and upset both our stomachs at dinner. Also steaks were not cooked nearly to asking. Off night for motaranos in my opinion, definitely not the usual dining experience.
