Our waitress, Rose, made the experience even better. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm personality and positive attitude really showed that she enjoys working there and cares about the guests 😊.
The restaurant itself is also very charming. Instead of one large dining area, it has several small and cozy rooms, which makes the atmosphere feel comfortable and relaxed. It’s a great place to enjoy a quiet meal.

My boyfriend and I live in Ohio we keep coming back any chance we get. The food and adult drinks are amazing. I'm not even a big appetizer person and their stuffed pretzels have me in a chokehold. A must try is their in house made honey mustard its like nothing you've ever had. We always get extra for our home order of pretzels. Street parking and manageable handicapped accessibility if you have help with the doors.

we stopped by max's allegheny tavern on a weekday night and had a great experience. a highlight we almost missed was the cinnamon cider special 🍎; i didn't see it on the paper menu, but my friend spotted it on the board near the door! it was perfectly spiced and incredibly delicious. max's sausage platter was also fantastic. quick tip: the soft pretzel is absolutely massive 🥨, so plan on sharing it with your table! our waiter was also super nice and friendly. 😊
